We filled jointly, but I received one in my name and for half the amount we are suppost to get for a couple. His was schedule to be deposited the same day as mine, but didn't post. Does anyone know if they are making different checks for each individual?Do my husband and I receive 2 different stimulus checks from the government?
If you filed jointly, you will a joint check with both your names on it.Do my husband and I receive 2 different stimulus checks from the government?
You should have received your check or letter notifying you by now. You only receive one if you filed a tax return for 2007. If you filed together, you will receive one check. If you filed separately, I think you each get one.
you will only get one check for you, your husband, and any kids you have.

It has been over a month since my husband was laid aff and we still have not recieved his severance check. How long does it typicaly take to recieve it??How long do I have to wait before My husband gets his severance check?

Is there a way to make yourself and your husband a company so that you can obtain group health insurance?
I clean and maintain investment properties as a job and sometimes my husband helps me with repairs, etc. Can we form a company and get health insurance at group rates? How do you do that? Thanks for any help!Is there a way to make yourself and your husband a company so that you can obtain group health insurance?
It's actually in your best interest not to pursue a group policy because they tend to actually cost more than that of a individual policy. The way that a group policy would be more effective is in a situation where someone has some pre-existing condition that prevents them from obtaining an individual policy.
Have you spoken with a local agent on what options you have available? A good agent will be able to go over your situation and find options to help get you the best coverage for your needs and hopefully within a decent price range that you can afford.
I know I couldn't afford the rates I was being given when I initially looked into a policy as I am self-employed also, so I decided to risk it and go without and hope that I continued to stay out of the doctors office and have no accidents. I also found Ameriplan just over 2 years ago which helped ease the burden a great deal and got me some really great savings, as well as a bit of relief in that if I ended up in the hospital I would at least not be completely financially shot. You can take a look at the plans at http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/cberney
It may or may not be something that will work with your situation but it doesn't hurt to look. And it can also be used along with traditional insurance should you find what works for you.
Many people who are relatively healthy and don't expect much in terms of doctors visits, etc. can opt for a high deductible or catastrophic coverage type plan which will keep their monthly fees lower and yet still be in place should something major happen. This is when you can use the Ameriplan savings to cut your out of pocket expenses throughout the year for any check-ups needed beings that you won't be getting any help from insurance until you meet the deductible which can be $5000 or more even.
I hope this will be able to help you out a bit more and that you find something that will work just right for you %26amp; your husband.
Good Luck!Is there a way to make yourself and your husband a company so that you can obtain group health insurance?
Sure you can! But ';group rates'; are HIGHER than individual rates!!
You talk to a lawyer, and incorporate. In many states, there must be at least three people, to be in the group. In all, the employees must work for the company, at least 20 hours a week, and you'll have to show the payroll records.
For small groups with less than ten people, the policies are STILL underwritten per the people's health. SO, if you guys are 30 and healthy, the premiums should run you around $800 a month for a low deductible plan, for just the two of you. If you're not healthy, conditions will either be excluded, rated much higher, or your application will be denied.
The reason ';group rates'; through your employer seem to be such a good deal, is because your employer is usually paying half of it, or even more.
You can't get group insurance, he's not your full time employee, and either way you would still have to pay. It would be better to just take out a policy that covers the both of you. If you contact me @ show_nuff_03@yahoo.com, I'll ask you a few questions, and give you a quote in a matter of minutes
Why would you want to go through the effort to pay twice the cost?....
Obviously you're under the same impression that many others are. FYI indiviudal coverage is about half the cost of group since groups' underwriting is either non-existent or very lax. Individual coverage is tougher to get and therefore it's cheaper.
Anyway, just get an individual policy. It's cheaper than group.
Jeff
You can create a business model, but this would only allow you to slide the money out of a different pocket for insurance. The cost would be relatively the same. Most companies wont even start groups with less than 8-10 people and you are still paying almost full price. The more people the lower the cost. You have a great idea but I don't think it will work out the way you want. Good Luck
Probably best to do some homework about your confusing area. Here is a great start point.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/health-insurance-for-free.htm
You'd pay A LOT per month to have it.And if you dont already claim your job as income you'd have to.
I think even people who mow lawns for a living can get Ins...its just expensive!

How can I be the perfect wife to my husband?
I want to be a house wife, but I still plan on working, but I want to know how to make our marriage perfect by being like a perfect house wife. How can I be the perfect wife to my husband?
Your used of the word ';perfect'; twice worries me, because as you must know, only Jesus was perfect. Your husband is a nice human being with faults like the rest of us, so why is it so important for you to be ';perfect';? Please give some thought to this aspect. Since you love him, you will naturally be supportive of his hopes and dreams, and you will want to do things he likes and enjoys. Those are the major things to do as a loving wife. I trust he loves you also, and in that case he can't expect you to be perfect; that word is coming from you and you need to understand that your best effort will be very good for him.How can I be the perfect wife to my husband?
Being perfect is a failure in itself, because no one is perfect. I came across this article that would be ';perfect for you';!
http://www.ehow.com/how_4492417_be-perfect-wife.html
How about you throw out the concept of perfect because this is unrealistic. And go and talk to your husband and see what his needs and expectations are for this relationship; and then voice yours.
You should be working as a team, or this will not be a fulfilling union. You can't make him happy and he can't make you happy; both of you can decide to be happy and make a conscious effort together to identify what these things will be that you can do to reach this goal.
Marriage is tough, and there will be times that you both can't stand each other. But know this is normal; you both should have lives outside of each other and with each other so you aren't being smothered. Good luck!
This is actually a big subject with many women right now because most women want the same thing you do but find that being a full time worker and being a full time house wife is incredibly exhausting. Over time, one part or the other has to be neglected then women feel guilty about it.
Going forward you have to accept that not everything is going to get 100 percent care. Just make sure to love your husband and let him love you back.
I was a housewife for a while and now I work and go to school full-time.
I ASKED my husband what he wanted in a wife. He said he married me because he loved me and I have a great personality.
He said nothing about cleaning the house, cooking or raising kids - those are all bonuses!
We have a very equal relationship. You can't have or do it all - as good as it may be, it will only stress you out.
You can't be perfect, but you can get close to it! Just be yourself, set a schedule, get on a good routine, and be loving to him. Do a little housework everyday so that the weekends are completely free for the family or him.
Be open, honest and sexy too!!
You're a Christian woman. The bible has it's own description of the ideal wife (and no the bible never says anywhere that a woman has to be housewife in case people were wondering) in both the old and new testaments. There are also a great deal of decent marriage books out there that you should read.
Step one: Don't listen to feminists here. They will tell you to belittle your man, wear the pants in the household, be bossy %26amp; overbearing, etc. That alone will cause conflict and lead to problems in the relationship.
Just be a good person and he should be the same. What he does for you; make up for in other areas.
Prepare meals in advance so all he has to do is warm it up when he gets home. You can clean the house like 1 a week cuz guys are not that picky. Do the laundry 2 times a week. Help him put on his shoes when he goes off to work and kiss him with tongue.
Keep everything clean and tidy. Try to bring fresh flowers home. Cook breakfast and dinner and send left overs for lunch. Be a whore in the bedroom and listen to whatever problems that he may have had during the day.
There is no such thing as perfection in the human being. Love him, be nice, have fun, dont sweat the little things. But perfection is both boring and imposible to accomplish.
No one can be perfect hun. Just try your best to do the right things. Someone who truly loves you will not expect perfection.
Why don't u ask him? Ask him what his definition of a perfect wife is. I bet u he knows what he wants better than anyone on this website. And he'll be happy that you are trying

How has your view of America changed since my husband was elected President?
Do you still consider my country to be racist? How has your view of America changed since my husband was elected President?
For the first time in my adult life Im proud of my countryHow has your view of America changed since my husband was elected President?
1) It has improved drastically.
2) Yes people here are still racist because if you go to the Politics section there are lots of people pointing out his middle name is ';Hussein'; and they think that's a bad thing since a lot of Muslim's have that name.
Yes this country is still racist. And nothing can change that but these stupid azz white folks...
ih hi ih whatever the fucc you put. Don't you get tired of your same lame azz comments. I'm tired of hearing them. You need to wake the **** up, before someone wakes u up. The world does not stop because your dumb azz spoke. I can say some very mean things but I'm really trying not too...So just STFU and answer the question with some respect next time.
By the way u look black lol...
Scott u need to STFU too. What were you doing and saying when Bush killed off all your white little buddies. Do your mom and dad still love his dirty azz drawers. Yeah I thought not...
For the better.
There are still clearly quite a numer of blatant racists, and even larger numbers of subtle racists, but structurally, it's clear that America has made some amazing strides.
First, you have just epicly failed. Second, even if you were the First Lady, you would not consider your country, but ';ours';. But ignoring the last part of your question, my view hasn't changed at all.
Of course there's still racism! Racism didn't just end the day of the inaugural ball! lol It didn't magically disappear!
.
scott you are really ignorant
No. I am proud to be an American now that we have proved that we can put doing whats right ahead of doing whats white.
IT HASNT TONED DOWN THE ANNOYING NASAL VOICE OF THE WHITE AMERICAN
NO I see it as an African nation with lots of ghettos gangs and uneducated people.
YOur husband has done nothing good so far (its been almost a year)
Black people could never run a 1st world nation.

If a manager has an affair with an employees Husband, should there be repercussions at work?
Or is it strictly a personal matter? If a manager has an affair with an employees Husband, should there be repercussions at work?
What a tangled web we weave. There would be repercussions in the basis that the manager is creating a poisoned atmosphere at this place of work, how can the one individual possibly deal with the other or take any instruction. This person/manager has shown that they do not know how to manage a broom closet as much as a workplace.
Now the information you give is sparse, but in the long, run one of the two individuals in the workplace will have to go. The manager has a little issue of possible blackmail, unprofessional behaviour and neglect of duty. The worker has to deal in a place that no longer is hospitable to his or her needs.
Sadly, these affairs never work out, and someone pays the price. It takes but one call to the workplace or ones divorce lawyer and watch the fun begin. And as a personal matter, am sure the battle at home will lead to filling a lawyers pocket. If a manager has an affair with an employees Husband, should there be repercussions at work?
This is a really interesting question. I do believe that these facts would permit a claim under Federal and State law since an employee need only show a hostile work environment that leads to an adverse employment action. What could be more hostile than your boss having an affair with your spouse.
From a strictly ethical perspective, there should definitely be repercussions.
The people having the affair are not working together. The manager can sleep with whomever he wants to on his own time. I'd say it's a huge bummer for the poor employee who is being cheated on, but has nothing to do with work. If the manager treats her the same as everyone else, then it's strictly a personal matter.
Not a nice thing but would say it was a personal matter. Different if it was 2 people in the workplace having the affair and their contract specifically stated there should be no dating etc. with colleagues.
They both should be fired, ethically speaking.
Yes, but often there never ever is.

My dog will only walk with me and my husband is unable to take him without me. How do I remedy that?
I adopted him at age 4, chocolate lab, male, he's now 9 and I've been with my husband for 2 years now. He loves my husband so much but won't walk with him unless I'm present. How do we fix this issue? My dog will only walk with me and my husband is unable to take him without me. How do I remedy that?
Have you husband walk him without you there. He's got you under his paw. He needs to learn that your husband is in control of him as well as you, you need to let them work that out without your intervention. Get some really really good treats, not the everyday stuff, but cooked chicken or something of that nature, have your husband take him on a walk, and lure him along with the chicken. Also have you husband spend time doing obedience with him daily, sit, lay down, stay, paw, etc. This will change the dog views on who is higher in the chain of command. Good Luck!My dog will only walk with me and my husband is unable to take him without me. How do I remedy that?
The way I'd go about it is, both of you go walkies, let your husband take the leash and get your husband to give lots of praise and if necessary food rewards. As you go further on the walk, drop back so you are out of the dogs sight and see how he reacts, if your man can keep him moving you can slip back and see what happens.
When you are taking him on a walk together, slowly relenish control of the leash and start slowly disappearing. Let your husband take the lead and slowly back off and eventually disappear. Have your husband carry treats and praise him every time he does well. The dog trusts you and is attached to you and he needs to know that he can do the same with your husband. He is no longer my dog, he is our dog.
Good Luck!
Your husband needs to accompany you on the walks to get your dog to see that he is part of the walk too, eventually you dog will see your husband as part of the walk, and associate your husband and a leash as a recipe for a good walk.
Won't walk with him? What does that mean? If he's on a leash and your husband walks, how can the dog NOT walk with him?
I suggest your husband take the dog to obedience class.
Realize that the dog isn't your boss, you're his master.
Your husband needs to get him on leash, get him outside and praise him everytime he walks with him.
make the dog go without you
Try a swift kick in the butt :)

Can my husband and I file joint bankruptcy if had filed individual bankruptcy on my own just over 6 yrs ago?
I filed in October of 2001 (before we were married). Due to an extreme drop in his income, by husband is considering filing. We would like to file jointly only because we have a joint debt we would like to discharge as well. I know there are limitations as to how often an individual can file, but would that be the case in a joint bankruptcy (if one person has filed individually within the the last 6 years)? We are in Indiana, if that matters. Can my husband and I file joint bankruptcy if had filed individual bankruptcy on my own just over 6 yrs ago?
No maam, you can not...due to the changes in BK laws. However, the actual debt may be able to be included in his filing. Unlike when you filed, you now have to go through counseling and a few other ';hoops';. As you may know, contact your local BK atty. he/she will meet with you, usually free, and advise of how to proceed.
BTW, ignore the comments you will probably get regarding not managing your finances!! Most of the mid west, along with many other states, are in a time where cut backs, layoffs, plant closings are the norm (I specifically site the mid west, as the auto manufacturer issues). More successful ppl file multiple BK's than anyone even knows about.

You need to consult an attorney-1st consult is usually free-with a ch. 13, I believe you can but the laws changed recently-I am in Indiana too and my fiancee recently filed a ch. 13.
nope you wont be able to, once every 7 years,, contact a lawyer,
Sounds like you both need to control your spending and start acting like responsable adults. You can do it, but just don't expect to have ANY credit once you come out of it. Seriously though, I would start living within your means and not spending money you don't have.
yeah so u can call the authorities and tell them to cancel it .... and then file the report again ... but from ur situation .. it looks like ur waiting long ... my advice with my answer will be try a different company
Regardless of filing jointly or independantly, you can only file a BK once every 7 yrs. and even then it depends on the circumstances and the type of BK being filed. They've changed the rules recently, so I would recommend checking with local BK attorneys. The joint debt that you have together should be able to be included on his BK since his name is on the account. They may have you sign a document agreeing to allow this account to be filed in the BK, but you can't file jointly with him since you already filed in 2001.cure acne beauty products

Can my husband get a bad mark on his attendance for having to go to small claims court?
My husband says he will get a half point mark down for being late because the court date and time interferes with the time he has to be at work. We are in Wisconsin. Can they do this?
We didn't pick the time and date the plaintiff did. We are merely defending our case. Can my husband get a bad mark on his attendance for having to go to small claims court?
Employer policy is up to them. If they say he gets dinged, he gets dinged. Can my husband get a bad mark on his attendance for having to go to small claims court?
Yes he can. No law requires an employer to excuse his time off. perhaps he can request the time off using the policy set by his employer.

How many Lean Cuisines can a wife serve a husband before his head pops off?
I cook other things too don't get me wrong. We had to have a drastic food change in our house because my husband's medicial issues. It seems like the more I put Lean Cuisines in the freezer for his ';quick fix's'; the crankier he gets?
So Husbands: Tell me.. How many can you eat before your head pops off?How many Lean Cuisines can a wife serve a husband before his head pops off?
lol Oh my Gawd I'm laughing at this one....okay, which head, Toots......lol...just the mental image has me cracking up...I'd say give it a week...and NO MORE COOL WHIP %26amp; OREOS, and....BOING! hahahahahaha....
..and I have a cranky Baby at times too...he's type 2 diabetic with a horrible sweet tooth and love of homestyle southern cooking (he's from Atlanta Georgia) I do my best...no frozen foods but all this healthy eating is gonna cause a head pop here one day, I'm sure. I offset it by letting him have his fav sausage gravy %26amp; biscuits (mine's da Bomb!) once in a while..it neutralizes the head popping effect....lol still laughing. How many Lean Cuisines can a wife serve a husband before his head pops off?
I actually enjoy a lot of the Lean Cuisines, etc...they just aren't that big and usually need something else.
What you might want to try is dressing up the meal. Instead of serving it in the plastic container it comes in, try putting it on a plate. Take a few extra seconds to zap another frozen veggie to go with it, or get some dinner rolls. You might find your husband finds the meal more enjoyable because it actually is a meal.
If that doesn't work, give him a beer to drink with it. That should solve everything.
Well I do not think his head will literal pop off, I eat them every day and I'm still kick-en. Although a steady diet of them all day long would cause some stress. Your going to have to fix him a special treat, for his good behavior, at least once a week. It would also be helpful if you and Skippy stopped eating all the good foods in front of him, talking about how delicious and good the food is while he is eating his bland tasteless food. So give him a break.
I had some Lean Cuisines in the freezer a while ago when I was trying to lose 5 lbs. My husband came along, and he ate three of them in one sitting. Then he microwaved a 4th just to eat the dessert, and he put the rest in the fridge. He said they were good, but I said that he kind of defeated the purpose of the ';Lean'; part of Lean Cuisine. So I guess my hubby could eat a whole bunch before his head popped off... but his pants buttons would probably pop off instead. :D
It's ok for convenience. They are handy, but it's probably not the best thing to eat exclusively. I can't eat them mostly because I am a vegetarian, but when I did eat meat, I would say I could eat about 5 a week or so. Other than that, I start craving other foods.
It may be that his medical condition does require special cooking, but on the other hand, learning to make simple easy dishes can be fun. For instance, you need to find what he can eat.
Oftentimes, you could pre-make certain foods that freeze well and then heat them up (for instance, chili--you could make it vegetarian if he needs a low fat diet).
I dont think he'll eat one.
Just the way he looks at me when I sit down to dinner. I fix the rest of my family this awesome, yummy meal, that I spend all day cooking. Then I sit down with them, with a lean cuisine in front of me. lol! I think he feels sorry for me!
oh, lordy lordy my husband would never eat Lean Cuisines, so you got it made on that one honey
i have a meat and potatos kinda guy
so i will speak for him and say ';0';
4,729 - after that you start with bleeding out the nose followed by out the ears after 5,167. After 6,456, you die upon putting the fork in your mouth.
Three. One is OK on occasion. If I had to eat them for two meals in a row, I'd be very unhappy. After the third one, my head wouldn't so much pop off as it would explode in gustatory disgust.
Well most lean cuisine portions are designed for women on a 1,200 calorie a day diet. Most men are practically starving on 1,200 calories a day and need at least 2,000.
Maybe he's just hungry???
Will friend I don't know because I don't like them! All i say is after you give him one step back, his head is going to roll and you better get out of the way!
If all he can eat is Lean Cuisine for food try find other foods like that and tell him that if he wants to live longer he needs to chage his diet and cope with what the doctor has recommended. Good luck
I have never eaten lean cuisine, I like frozen entres but enjoy good food as well. Look for healthy quick food cookbooks.
Not too many for me, but he's the one who gets hunger attacks. Does he have diabities maybe? The Adult Unset kind?
By the third meal you'd be looking for the duct tape and stapler, no doubt.
My husband eats one a day for lunch at work five days a week.
Depends on the frequency. I think three per month is tolerable.
One
Right up until he files for divorce.
LOL!! I dont know but please repost and let us know the answer when it happens.
my husband wont even eat leftover much less a lean cuisine. He loves his home cooked meals.
One a year is more than enough.
I would max out at 8.
I wouldn't eat one of them.
Better his head then his pant buttons!lol

How can you concieve a baby quicker with your husband?
Once again, I was just curious. What things should you/your husband avoid? And what techniques/positions should you use?How can you concieve a baby quicker with your husband?
Your husband should avoid tight underwear. You can use any position but I've heard that you (the female) should also try to have an orgasm every time, the spasms draw the sperm closer to the cervix. Also, many women will lay on their backs afterward with a pillow under their bottom. Gravity will help semen flow towards your cervix. How can you concieve a baby quicker with your husband?
Have sex in the missonary postition and do it 2 days before you ovulate on the day of ovulation and 3 days after.Sperm can live up to 5 days and the egg is only present 12 hours on the day of ovulation. The idea is to have sperm waiting there to fertilize the egg.Try not to do it everyday because you need to give the sperm time to build back up.
You should avoid having sex alot before you ovulate. Tell your husband to keep cold things away from his ';man'; (like swimming in a cold pool, etc....) I don't think the position matters just be sure that you don't rush to the bathroom once your husband is ';done'; you have to give the ';boys'; a chance to swim. The dollar store has ovulation tests that work great. Good Luck
I just read a little about this at my library a few days ago. Women should avoid caffeine...just one cup of coffee a day can lower your fertility up to 50%!! Also, cut out nicotine and alcohol. Take prenatals...I don't think that helps fertility but it assures a healthy you and baby...For men...they should smoke no more than 20 cigarettes a day...and no more than 3 cups of coffee or something like that.
Relax, a large percentage of women get pregnant during a holiday.
don't make love for two weeks begining with the first day of your period and then every second day after that. Keeps the sperm count high.
Swallow a watermelon seed.

How do you get an honest opinion from your husband?
I am seriously sick of getting answers like yeah its fine or yeah whatever you like. It seems like he is just saying what he thinks I want to hear. He can never form his own opinion. How can I get a real answer out of him?How do you get an honest opinion from your husband?
He, like the rest of us husbands eventually realize that you don't want an honest opinion. Whatever we answer is either; wrong, stupid, starts you either laughing at us or crying for some reason. We've learned to just say what you want to hear and get it over with. Example: Do I look fat in these? If we say no, you come back with ';you're just saying that, I can never get an honest answer out of you. ';, if we say yes ';we are insulting, don't love you any more or something silly. I'm sorry if you don't like this answer, but guys out there...am I right? Just see how many men agree. How do you get an honest opinion from your husband?
Ok. Let me break it to you.
1. Please note that answers like ';its' fine'; or yeah ';whatever'; means that he is not really interested in the outcome of the subject matter. So you can do what you want etc.
2. He keeps the answer short and simple. Why complicate things? Didn't you just hear him say fine?
2. He does have an opinion. In his opinion, quit asking questions that you know the answer to already. Or how about you just leave him be. If he has an opinion he will give it. If not, leave him be.
Maybe he doesn't have an opinion or really give much thought about to what you are asking about. Try asking him a question about something he is interested in, and he'll probably have very strong opinions.
If he is only saying 'what you want to hear', maybe you are overly sensitive to honest answers.
I would just flat out ask him for his honest opinion, mine does it and I have no regrets asking for it. Maybe he might be afraid you would get mad at him. Just let him know how can you have an honest relationship if he can't express himself honestly to his wife about anything you ask. Be sure you can handle the truth.
he's probably learned after years of you being a b*tch to him and harping on everything he says to just shut the hell up so you quit riding his *** and he can live the last remaining years of his pitiful life in peace.
You probably get those answers because most of the women that I've ever associated with will argue with you if you answer in a way that they don't want to hear. So why ask in the first place if you don't want our answer?
If he is not giving a descriptive answer he might be preoccupied or unintrested and not care. When it comes to a imprant decsion makes sure you have his full attention and you should get a better response.
The correct response to ';Whatever you like,'; is ';Thank you!';
If I think he's blowing me off - I call him out on it (aka. turn of the tv). My husband is an honest person by nature (sometimes too honest) so it's not usually a problem for me...
Ask him 5 seconds AFTER orgasm... it's when men are most honest.

Ladies who's a better cook you or your husband?
My bf and I are both damn good cooks. However my boyfriend thinks he's a better cook since he has his Cooking and Baking Certificate.Ladies who's a better cook you or your husband?
We both are but i get more into it BECAUSE of my culinary degree and passion of food and such. But my Bf does a lot of the cooking because i am working 14 hour days.
He is creative and makes some damn sweet *** burgers!!Ladies who's a better cook you or your husband?
My hubby rarely cooks, but when he does he struts around telling the kids how much better at it he is than me. In truth I make his favorite beef jerky, I make the chorico and kale soup that he loves. But I experiment a lot more, and sometimes we don't care for the outcome. Or I like it but he doesn't. But that's how we learn!! So I say me, but he would disagree. Today he told me that someday I would learn how to cook. I've been cooking for 17 years. Ugh.
credentials don't mean squat. It means he knows how to hold a knife, and to not cross-contaminate food, which is important, but adds nothing to flavor.
I'm better than my hubby at most things. But he has a few dishes that I don't even attempt b/c his are so good... I just get him to do them.
I am! Well, food is my art, I went to school for it.. he knows how to cook, he's just not on my level of cooking =) I still appreciate anything he makes though.
i am. and my husband will actually admit it. its so bad i dont even ask him to stir the pot or check on it. hes not allowed in my kitchen
At first, my hubby was the better cook, mainly because I didn't know how!!!! But after a while and a nice cookbook collection, I am the better cook now. He'll agree to it, too!
Can run circles around mine in the kitchen...however giving the poor fellow credit, he is a good cook, and he outshines me on the grill.....
i am good at cooking and he's good at eatting .
I am. My hubby doesn't like to cook. He's the best eater, though. :-)
I cook and he cleans... works well that way... But when he grills I clean!
Me - but he's pretty darned good too! (lucky me!)
I'm a better cook and he washes the dishes. Even trade.
My husband said I am! but he can make the best damn spaghetti!
me in the kitchen, him on the grill. But if he ever wants to take over the kitchen part he is well come to it!
I am definitely better than my lady, haha. But she is still really good too.
ummm....ME...hubby enjoys the eating not the prep

When my husband eats he has a coughing attack what is causing it?
Everytime my husband eats anything he has a coughing attack. Not from choking so no stupid responses please. What could cause him to have coughing attacks everytime he eats? When my husband eats he has a coughing attack what is causing it?
I have never seen this one before. It could be one of two things (or neither)...
1. His throat may be irritated and swallowing cranks it up.
2. (This happened to my grandfather) He may be swallowing into his lungs. The regulator that directs oxygen into your lungs everything else to your stomach may be confused. If it is not choking, however, it may not be this. Then again, he could be swallowing to his lungs and still breathe.
More likely than not it is number one but I would keep both in mind and anything else people post. I am not there so I can not tell how bad it is. If it is really bad, I would seek the help of a trained professional. When my husband eats he has a coughing attack what is causing it?
The swallowing mechanism is quite complex. It involves coordinated muscular contractions and a thing called your glottis to cover your larynx. Many people have difficulty swallowing. It can be evaluated by a speech therapist. I'm not suggesting he had a stroke but many stroke victims have trouble swallowing.
This should be looked at by a doctor and evaluated soon. Before he aspirates food into his lungs and has serious problems.
God bless you and keep you both healthy.
Oops. Forgot to mention why the coughing. The only thing that would do that is saliva, or fluid or piece of food getting past his glottis and reaching his vocal cords which respond violently by coughing strongly.
Maybe he is something he is allergic to that is in most foodscure acne beauty products

What is the best and fastest way for my husband to raise his credit score by 40 points?
We want to refinance to lock in a fixed rate. (and possibly pay off around $10,000 in credit card debt- but that is not necessary) He has a few late payments on a couple smaller balance accounts that are screwing up his credit score. My credit isn't that great either, plus I don't work (Stay at home mom) We owe $190,000 on our house and it's been appraised (by a relator/friend) for at least $360,000. We know that his credit score will affect the refinance process but we have a few months to try to improve his credit score. Any ideas are much appreciatedWhat is the best and fastest way for my husband to raise his credit score by 40 points?
I can't tell you for certain what you can do in a short time to raise your score 40 points, but here are some quick ideas...
You can't get rid of past late payments, but don't be late on anything else. Late payments will only come off given time. Even though the credit report goes back 7 years (or more), many creditors will look favorably if you haven't been late on anything for at least 12 straight months.
Look at your credit card balances. Are the cards nearly maxxed out? The ratio of your balance to your credit limit has a massive effect on your credit score. If you are close to maxxed out, consider taking out a home equity line of credit or a second mortgage and pay off or pay down those credit cards. I think if your cards are more than 50% of your limit, it adversely affects your score. Of course, if you take out a loan to pay off the cards, pay close attention to all the closing costs and fees because they can get up there fast.
Don't do anything (like shopping for a new car) that will cause anyone to pull your credit score. Your score can be lowered just by having someone pull your credit score, although it usually takes several companies doing this over a short period of time for it to adversely affect your score.
You might also look for a loan that offers an opportunity to refinance again after a short time for little or no additional closing costs or fees. It would be easy to refinance at whatever the rate is now with the credit you have, then pay off your credit cards, etc. and make all your payments on time and then refinance again (say 12 months from now) when your improved credit score will qualify you for a better rate (assuming the prime rate hasn't increased). Talk to your lender about it...they should be able to tell you what kind of credit score you would need to qualify for rate X, so you'll know how much you have to improve your score. What is the best and fastest way for my husband to raise his credit score by 40 points?
The fastest way would be to be added as an authorized user to a parent with a great credit score and pay all bills on time.
They are cracking down on it, but a fast and effective way is piggybacking. Here is an article on it:

pay all bills on time and never be late. double up on payments and consider getting rid of all credit cards except maybe one major one.
pay all things on credit report and keep paying on time..
Having a good credit rating, helps a consumer get a loan or credit at better rates and for larger amounts. To know ';How to improve credit rating, credit score'; plz follow link-

How hard is the application process for my African husband to become a US citizen?
My boyfriend and I will be getting married shortly but now we are more concerned with his application for permanent resident than anything else. He is African and was here on a work Visa when we fell in love. Now we are getting married and people have told us that there is a possibility that he will have to wait in Africa until we hear back from the Immigration Department. If anyone knows anything I would appreciate the insight! I am just so stressed with the wedding and now this I don't know what to do!How hard is the application process for my African husband to become a US citizen?
It all depends who does the paperwork. Some are friendly and it gets done other are not. The plus is he is here Legally so that does help. Get married and send the paperwork. You will get a letter stating what is required of him. Depending on the African Country he is from will determine the rest.
File everything
Write down everything
Write down everyone you talk to
All paperwork send certified mail that way you have a receipt of it getting there.
Never trust anyone to do their jobHow hard is the application process for my African husband to become a US citizen?
He is here legally working with legal documents. If you get married all you have to is once you get married adjust his status to legal permanent resident. You need to file the form I-485. Follow this link for more information: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/m鈥?/a>
Good luck and congratulations!!!
Actually there is a process that would involve getting permission from the American Embassy. If you get married here, he would have to return to Africa and the process would take about 9 months. If you delay your marriage and apply for a fiancee visa the process is shorter. An application has to be filed with the American Embassy. From there they will do a security check, you will need to show that you make enough money for the both of you to live on, he will have to have a physical done, he must have a passport and lastly he will have an interview with the American Embassy. The best thing to do is to hire an attorney that is an expert in these matters. You can do it yourself but if you make just 1 error, it can hold things up for years.

Can my husband get in truoble for having a relationship with another active duty member?
My husband is in tech school for the air force and i have recently found out that he's been having a relationship with another women who is active duty. Can my husband get in trouble for having a relationship with another active duty member? Can my husband get in truoble for having a relationship with another active duty member?
Adultery is punishable under the UCMJ. I'll offer this. It is not easy to prove. Just because you know it is happening does not mean that it can be easily proven unless one of them admit to it.Can my husband get in truoble for having a relationship with another active duty member?
Yes, he absolutely can! My husband just retired from the Military last year after serving for 22 years and I know for a fact they can get in trouble because I seen it happen. In my 10 years as a Military wife, I can't even count the number of married active duties members that were having affairs with other active duty members and civilians. Now every command is different on how they handle it, but I have seen some get into some serious trouble over it. I have a friend who's husband cheated on her and they busted him down from an E-6 to an E-4. When he cheated on her again, they kicked him. However, I have also seen commands just basically tell them to not do it again. My husband was a Chief in the Navy and he dealt with more then one case of his guys/girls cheating on their spouse. I also found that the command is harder on the active duty member if their spouse is really pushing for action to be taken against them.
Yes! In the marines husbands who cheat get thrown in the brig and they get into severe trouble. Also you can divorce him and take EV ERYTHING since he cheated, but you need proof. and thats exactly what you should do to the cheating B-A-S-T-A-R-D
Let him get in trouble for having a relationship! He's CHEATING!!!
you worry about that, and not the fact he's cheating on you?

What is a fun way to surprise/present my husband with gift?
I got him(us...!) a gps unit for our anniversery. We are going on a mini vacation today and I thought about just having it in my purse doing the talking thing as we leave and having him wonder where its coming from, but that seems kinda lame. Anyone got any ideas? What is a fun way to surprise/present my husband with gift?
I think that is a really cute idea. Another idea might be to go out to dinner, and have the waiter bring it out on a platter with a lid and serve it to him! Great gift idea! :)What is a fun way to surprise/present my husband with gift?
Bring a friend.
Give him a bj while he's sleep
stick it between your legs! lol

How can I fix my sexual relationship with my husband?
My husband doesn't want to have sex with me anymore. He masturbates once or twice a day, when we do have sex he doesn't have an orgasm. Its gotten to the point where he sleeps during the day and I sleep during the night. Can someone help me please. I need professional help. He says he loves me and when i wake up during the night we spend time together. How can I fix my sexual relationship with my husband?
First, it is important to know that you are not alone. There are a lot of sexless marriages. The good news is, the situation is not hopeless. It is indeed possible to go from sexless to hot sex.
I had this problem in my own marriage and my husband and I now have sex a few times every week, and we've been married 24 years.
A great resource you might want to check out is Fix Your Sexless Marriage: http://tinyurl.com/qlmbzl
It might give you the help you need to work through a sexless marriage, even without professional help.

GwendlynHow can I fix my sexual relationship with my husband?
Don't assume this is all about you (or that any of it is about you). YOU can not fix this. You need to fix this as a couple. You both need to get some professional help, like a marriage counselor. If he refuses to go (most men do), then you can go by yourself. But refusing to go is an indication he doesn't care if anything changes. Then the writing is on the wall.
It sounds like the two of you need to reconnect Have date night once a week go out to Dinner at a nice place you both like ;listen to some music ;Cuddle on the couch %26amp; watch a movie together;if the love is still there everything will come Naturally %26amp; you can find your way back to each other %26amp; recapture the flame .Good Luck.
Marriage counselors in my opinion are a waste of money. All you need to do is find a way to reconnect. Most of the time making some time for each other and just talking may be all that is needed. The money you can save by fixing it yourself can be used for a nice vacation somewhere.
Well, he has some kind of sexual disorder. Rather to masturbate than have sexual intercourse is strange and he needs to find some kind of treatment for it.
You said ';I need professional help';.....Then what are you doing on the board? Get some professional help. That would require calling a counselor during business hours and setting up an appointment.
Yup,
this happens alot in marriages,
How long have you been married?
It will get worse as time goes by if not addressed.,
You have answered your own question , you do need professional help. Did he say that he doesn't want to have sex with you anymore or are you assuming?
You said it yourself you need professional help.

What can I do to help my bi-polar husband when he has a manic or depressive episode?
My husband has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. We have been together for 3 years and his episodes have almost lead to us splitting up many times before we figured out the problem. I love him very much but I do not know where to begin to help him. I have tried the things the therapist recommends and they don't seem to help very much. I am hoping that someone with experience in this area can tell me what has worked for them. What can I do to help my bi-polar husband when he has a manic or depressive episode?
Be with your husband, calm him down by talking through complete thoughts. Rationalize with him and keep him focused if possible. Love him and give to him yourself without bending your morals and ethics. Make sure he is not flushing his meds down the toilette. What can I do to help my bi-polar husband when he has a manic or depressive episode?
My betrothed is bi-polar, and the only thing I know to do is just hang in there with her until she's vented whatever was upsetting her. She's usually okay afterward, or at least calmer. I think the best you could do for your husband is to just let him vent to you (as long as he's not abusing you) and give him a shoulder to cry on if he needs it. If he's not on medication already, you might want to talk with him about getting meds to help with his bi-polarity. Love isn't easy, but don't give up. It's worth it.
Let me answer your question from a bi-polar's point of view....
we don't know how to handle major emotions...we cannot control our impulsiveness and don't cope well with bad situations. In arguments we think we are always right...we get mad throw a fit and then 10 minutes later are asking for forgiveness...
we suck when we're depresses we hate the world because the world hates us. we feel unwanted unloved sad and lonely. we wish we could die, anything is better than being bipolar (in our mind)....
i've had alot of stuff happen to me because of this.... i've crashed my bf's
car when manic....and i've cut myself when depressed.
he just wants you to understand him even though I know it must be so hard for you. I'm here today because my bf supports me to this day and i think you should do the same for your husband. =)
The thing that helped my daughter the most was the medications. At first she was over medicated and too doped up, but once they got the number of meds and the doses adjusted right, it was the best thing ever. Therapy really didn't help that much.
Will my mom has the same disorder and what helps her is just breathing in and out or a brown paper bagcure acne beauty products

Mine would be reality shows, more than one glass of wine with mac and cheese (from the box), filling the bathtub completely fully so the bubbles are nearly over flowing...

How do I get my chihuahua to like my husband?
I adopted two chihuahuas a few weeks ago while my husband was away for a week. They were rescued from someone who rescued too many pets and couldn't care for them all. They are supposedly 5 months old. The male has been fine with my husband from the minute he returned home but the female seems to be terrified of him. She cowers and sometimes even growls. I'm afraid it'll turn into biting soon. How can we all work together to make her like him? Any good suggestions? How do I get my chihuahua to like my husband?
Catkeypurr is right on the money. Your husband should take the lead in caring for your female. He should definitely be the one to feed her. Also you %26amp; he should do some desensitizing of the female together where you are all sitting on the floor. He can offer the female some yummy treats from his hand. (no eye contact/standing) -- just good times and food. Once she gets more use to him - he should walk her. Since you are asking your husband to take on a lot of responsibilities with the female dog -- YOU should be taking some of the other household chores off his hands. He takes out the garbage? -- you get to do it now while they are training together. Nothing worse than a resentful person in the house to sour the emotional mood.
And as the two of you should be doing some obedience training with the two dogs in any case -- why don't you both go to class together? It would be fun.How do I get my chihuahua to like my husband?
I find the usual way to win a dog round is for that person to feed and exercise him. Otherwise it's just a matter of not forcing this issue. Let the dog come to him and do not extend a hand etc. Just act natural - if you want to come see me, that's fine, if not, that's fine too. And get your husband to go down to their level - they are tiny dogs after all. If she sees the other one being comfortable with him, eventually she'll join in.
Were these two living together? If so that will help because she may well follow his lead, eventually. Obviously something in her past has caused this - assuming she's like it with all men? And this is the trouble with rescues - they always come with some sort of 'baggage', and it takes time, and patience, to bring them round to your way of life.
If you and your husband work together, it would be easier. If seems frightened, reassure her, pet her and give her a treat.
When your husband enters the house or comes into a room, reassure the dog and give her a treat.
After a few days of this, maybe your husband and you could try sitting together and calling the dog over. Give her a treat, reassure her and pet her til she seems calm. Have your husband offer her a treat once she seems calm.
Hopefully, she will look at your husband as a source of treats, and forget about her anxiety.
Maybe she was abused by a man, and this is her way of responding to it? We never know what animals have been through before we get them.
He needs to be the one to feed, walk etc. The more involved he is in the care of the dogs the faster she'll relax with him.
If you have no trouble handling her, pick her up %26amp; hand her to him then walk away. Have him just hold her quietly %26amp; without petting or making eye contact then set her down.
I watched this on 'the dog whisperer' and he said feeding treats isn't ideal because if the dog is nervous she won't want to be fed.
He managed to solve the problem by sitting near the dog and talking to the owner with a treat in his hand. They just ignored the dog until she was ready to approach him and then he just gave her the treat but didn't try to stroke her or overwhelm her.
Time and patience. Have her just spend time in the same room as him while he reads or does something quiet. They could nap together or watch TV together -- don't force anything. She might be frightened. Be glad that the male is OK with him. With rescues U have to be extra patience.
Have your husband give your dog treats and when you guys are sitting next to each other call the dog on to your lap but dont let your husband make sudden moves because chihuahuas are easily startled.
Well most female chihuahuas take favor towards one person, but if your husband just ignores her she will start to feel sad and will start to feel like she needs him and will start to warm up to him.
i would guess your husband is really tall, think about your dog she needs to look up at him which is scary for her, and who can blame her. What does your husband do around her. Basically if he makes her to sit on his lap or to hold her this wont help. You need you husband to sit on the floor, so he is closer to her level and let her come to him when she is ready, this wont happen over night. If he feeds her a little treat this will help, and if he plays with the other chi , the scared chi will think he is not as bad as she first thought. Chis dont like loud noises, shouting etc so she see him as a threat. It time and love. I have a little boy chi that was scared of my husband it took him 3 years to get used to him, and now he will sit on his lap when he wants and will jump up his leg but wont let him pick him up.
If a scared chi can see that another chi is fine with him, then your half way there. If your husband is scared of her, nervous of her then your dog will no and this will make it a lot harder for her to trust him. Hope this helps, good luck Maria

What would be the best driver to get my husband for Christmas?
My husband is an avid golfer and I wanted to get him an amazing driver. Anyone have any ideas? What would be the best driver to get my husband for Christmas?
Choice of clubs is a very personal thing. Relying on a strangers opinion of the ';best'; club could be the complete opposite of your husbands taste. You are going to hear a million opinions to get Taylor Made because they are the best selling. If my wife bought me one, I would return it because I don't like them. A gift certficate would allow him to choose his own, or if he already has a driver that he likes, then prepay for lessons. What would be the best driver to get my husband for Christmas?
I agree with unoriginal. In addition to trying to decide on a particular brand of driver, there are things like loft, shaft stiffness, kick-point etc to consider. If your husband is a serious golfer it would be very difficult for you to get him the exact driver that he'd want. As unoriginal advised, a gift certificate to a good golf retailer would be a better idea. Perhaps along with it you could enclose a photo of a driver, or better yet, a picture of you holding a driver wearing something christmas like and naughty but nice. I know if my wife did that for me, I'd consider it a very special christmas gift.
The best gift you can give him for christmas club wise is an appointment with a certified club fitter. There is usually one at most clubs. This will make sure he has the best equipment (driver in this case) for his swing and will deliver the results he's looking for. He'll also be looking at different shafts and which works best with his swing speed/ power.
i would say probably a taylor made like a taylor made r7 superquad but the new one is the r7 limited. The nike sasquatch is another good bet. But there also is the new callaway drivers like the ft-iq. I would suggest out of those the r7 superquad because it has weights so he could adjust the settings to his game type.
Just take him to golf pro shop and let him pick it out. The best gift is the one that you get to pick out for yourself. Usually most golfers are very picky players.
I would get him a gift certificate to the local golf store or Dick's Sporting Goods and let him choose his driver. We may suggest a lot of different drivers and he may not like any of them.
I agree with the last 3 people who posted. I would suggest that you give him a gift certificate for $500.00 and let him pick out the driver.

What are some good ways to pick a second husband after discarding the first one?
I would not like to make the same mistake twice! What are some good ways to pick a second husband after discarding the first one?
This is a fair question, and your respondents took it too lightly. My list:
1. No kids left to raise, or better yet, none at all
2. Non-smoker
3. Have a job he liked
4. Be VERY educated, and VERY bright.
5 Have a great sense of humor, be kind, non-abusive, (obviously). Even tempered, not given to fits of swearing...i.e., not a nut case.
6. Not fat, nice smile, but being handsome wasn't necessary.... healthy was.
7. Hopefully somewhat adventuresome, liking to travel.
8. And he had to like himself, and who he himself was...
Other things are somewhat intangable.... Wasn't going to wish to be a parent, so if the guy wanted babies, he was eliminated. And if I dated the guy a few times, and I sensed insincerity, or that he was just hunting for a boinking buddy, I bailed before it got to the second or third date. By the third date, likely you'd have an idea if you wished to see this person again.
Hope this helped... worked for me.
What are some good ways to pick a second husband after discarding the first one?
Start by being confident about what you want out of a relationship and a life partner. Make sure you're realistic, as you'll never find the man for you if you're expecting perfection. You should be aware of what good qualities are a must and what negative qualities and habits you know you won't be willing to compromise on. Once you've determined this, don't settle for anything less. Don't go on an all-out ';husband-hunt';. That can scare some really good men away in a hurry. Spend your time being involved in activities or groups that would be appealing to both you and the type of man you're interested in finding. Eventually, you'll come across ';your'; man.
Yes, as your fellow female said, how many zeros in his checking? This is typical women of modern US. But, I would suggest that you hold on the finding the perfect husband. Unless you are a true gold digger, then follow the money. You will not find happiness, but who's keeping track, not you.
Take some time to find YOU. The perfect YOU. Travel, go to school, find your passion! get over the idea that your soul mate is out there just waiting for you. There is not mate that can make you feel complete. just yourself. Marriage is way overrated.
Since you are into DISCARDING people then maybe you were the mistake that he married! Maybe you should stay single. No Im not mad at you but your wording of your question says alot! And already looking for a replacement? Why dont you let it happen and find love this time and not just latch on the next available replacement.Thats kind of shallow don't you think?
Let me guess, you found him at the bars, dance club, internet, etc.
If you are looking for a guy that is nice, committed, and moral... You need to head to your local Church. That is where we hang out. Not going to find us at the bars. Those guys are just looking for one thing...
find someone you can respect without a need for anything from them except who they are and how they treat you
if you go looking for zeroes, behind the paycheck or in the bank, that is exactly what you'll find and probably what you'll get
choosing a second husband is liking hitting your thumb hammering the same nail, the defenition of insanity is doing the same thing expecting different results.
Where are you looking to upgrade? Do you want one with a fat bank account or would you like a boy toy?

Look back on your first marriage and the mistakes that were made.
See how the next relationship is going( the same, get out) learn from your past...Only you have control of your life.
Good Luck!!
Don't look for another husband. Just have fun and date. When the right man comes along, you'll know. No need to be hunting for husband number 2.
Pick someone that is the total opposite next time. Women seem to be attracted to the same kind of man, over and over.
At this point it is all about you so pick one that has enough money to make you happier when you discard him.
Think of the total opposite of your ex, then find someone to date that meets in the middle!
Don't remarry-
look at a guy you like and suggest going outside around the back! Skirt up, panties down, wham bang! there you go!

If my husband is deployed will the navy move me back home?
My husband and I currently live in Italy. He is being deployed for 1 year in a few weeks. I am hoping that the Navy will ship my goods back to the USA during this time my spouse is deployed. If the navy will not move me, what do they expect a wife to do in this situation? I am not staying in Italy without anyone, and I am assuming they will expect us to put everything in storage?? That really sucks. If my husband is deployed will the navy move me back home?
It all depends. No they will not move your stuff back home. That is one thing about being overseas and having your husband deployed. Although we stayed both times hubby deployed while we were in Germany, a few of my friends left for the states. They will not pay for you to move back to the states nor well they pay for your stuff to go into storage. It doesn't really suck. Now is your time to explore and do some traveling. I traveled with 3 kids all young at the time, with one in diapers his first deployment. You don't have to worry about time to have him back from his leave or anything like that. We did alot of traveling while hubby was gone.
Now you can try to have yourself and kids EROD. There is tons of paperwork to fill out for this and you will need a valid reason for wanting to get an EROD (early return of dependents). And saying ';well hubby is deploying and I want to go home'; is not a valid reason. Then if this paperwork is approved then they will ship you and your household goods stateside. But know that once they do this you will not be able to return to Italy once your husband comes home unless you pay to come back and they WILL NOT ship your household goods back once he redeploys back to Italy.
The military sort of expects you to stay there with your stuff unless you want to pay out of pocket and on your dime to move back.
Good luckIf my husband is deployed will the navy move me back home?
I have no idea, but he needs to contact his COC about this. I have never come across this type of situation before, and does pose a unique scenario. I do know families in Japan, do not move home when they deploy, but this is IA on an overseas shore billet. hmmmm. I curious about the answer.
you can request ERD.. but if that happens you will NOT be allowed to move back to Italy after his deployment, you lose Command Sponsorship and will also lose FSA when he gets back from the deployment.
you do what everybody else in your situation does: you stay put and make the best of it.
No, ma'am, they will not. The Navy spent approximately $20K to move you to Italy. (that's the average cost to PCS a family to an overseas location). What you do is between your hubby and you. Its sucks that he will be deployed for a year. Could you sublease to another family?
They will not ship your things back the USA.
This happens all the time to US Soldiers in Germany. This is why the Family Support Groups were set up, so you are not alone in another country.
You can move, but at your own expense. You will not get additional BAH for having two households when you husband gets back since your husband will still be assigned to Italy. When he gets back, they will not pay to move you back to Italy either.
I have seen this often. Last time I saw it, the spouses did things together to fill the time. In general, the military and the dependents will take care of each other, expecially in situations like this.
You can still talk to the transportation office and command. They may be able to cancel command sponsorship and send you home, but that would affect your husbands tour and you will no be able to move back with him after the tour. I do not know if they will do this, but you can ask.
Talk to the housing people on base, rules change but I don't think your husband would be returning to Italy so they should be able to move you home.
No they wont sorry to say
no, they won't. If you want to go home, that is your own choice and the military will not pay for it.
The Navy or any branch doesn't expect a spouse to run home during every deployment. They expect you to stay where your spouse is stationed. So, they would expect you to pay for it all on your own if that is what you chose to do.
sorry, but that is the way it is.

The Navy or any branch doesn't expect a spouse to run home during every deployment. They expect you to stay where your spouse is stationed. So, they would expect you to pay for it all on your own if that is what you chose to do.
sorry, but that is the way it is.

What are somethings you wish you knew about your husband before you got married?
Were you in for a rude shock? How did you deal with it?What are somethings you wish you knew about your husband before you got married?
The thing that I did not know was how he was with money. He is very tight and must save everything. I knew that a little but not to the extent that he was. It took some getting used to but I see the benefit of being like that now. We are debt free, we own everything that we have and we have money saved. He said that he was like that because he did not want to struggle and he will not borrow money from his parents. When we lived together and first got married we did our money separately. We did not combine it until I went on maternity leave. What are somethings you wish you knew about your husband before you got married?
that i would end up having to live with his rude, disrespectful, unintelligent mother, who thinks she knows it all,and can say whatever she wants to and when people get mad,she acts offended. i was suprised when he asked me to let her come and live with us,and since she is his mom,i agreed.
i ignore her as much as possible, only speak to her whenever my husband is at home, and try and let God deal with her.
i wish i knew before i got married,i would have moved with my hubby as far as i could from her.
I wish I knew that about 3 years after we were married he felt free to fart in front of me! YUK! It drives me crazy, we have been married for 5 years and have that same conversation at least twice a day. I don't think I have found a way to deal with it, I still tell hi it is rude and mean, one day I hope he listens but I am loosing faith fast
He doesn't manage his money, he procrastinates, his mother did all his cleaning for him, he never pays his bill on time.
I wish I had realized that the way he talked to and about his family members, eventually he would do the same to me. So now its too late and I just have to deal with it!
My wife was in shock when she saw me in a heavy metal band she didnt think i was the type %26amp; she hates Metal Music she is quite the opposite
I wish I'd known that he has a filthy temper that he managed to contain until after we were married.
I wish I knew that he still planned on sleeping with other women and I wish I knew that he liked to hit me!! How did I deal with it? I left!!!
That he was a lazy....selfish....a$$hole....with narcistic family members.

How can I get my point accross to my husband that Im serious?
I have said so many things in the past/present like Im leaving etc. He knows not to believe me at all. Anyhow he has done some unforgivable things. I want to make him know that i am serious, how can I do this since I have abused words in the past? How can I get my point accross to my husband that Im serious?
by stop talking and start doing. tell him what you are going to do and why you are doing it and then do those things you said you would do. action speaks louder that words. How can I get my point accross to my husband that Im serious?
Been there, done that! He knows you are just saying that because you have never acted on it! If you just want to show him a thing or too, without making it permanent, than get a hotel and leave for a couple of days. If you have kids take them with you. Do not answer his calls and just stay gone. On the second or third day, talk to him and see what he says. I have done this before and it worked. But you have to quit saying it and do it. If you are serious about leaving for good then you need to find a good lawyer, and make him leave.
Good Luck!
Start now be doing what you say you are going to do. If you are leaving now, just do it. If you just want to show you are serious, pick something you want to do but he doesn't like you doing. For instance, tell him you are going out with your friends and he has to fix his own dinner and watch the kids (if you have any). Then do it. Keep this behavior up for a while then get to the serious stuff like leaving.
You can get your point across to him that you're serious, by following through with what you say. If you say you're going to leave, start packing. If he still doesn't get it, start loading your stuff into the car. If he still doesn't get it, find a place to stay. If he still doesn't get it, stay away. He will get it eventually and either he will care or he won't.
Because of the past empty threats, only strong actions will get through to him at this point. Go spend a weekend with a girlfriend or something. Let him know you need some time to think about what you want. Don't say it unless you are 100% positive you can stick to it! Good luck. Sounds like a tough situation.
I totally know what your going through. Im in the same situation. The only thing you can really do is be strong tell him how you feel and if you don't like the outcome then you need to get out. It hard but if you are unhappy then do something about it. you are the only one who can make yourself happy! Dont let some low life bring you down. The longer you wait, the harder it will be trust me!
Michelle,
The only way a man will take you serious if you do what you say,
One night just pack your bags and go to your moms house, Stay there
for the weekend. See what he does.
Men only react when something happens. If your words are not
coming through, then your actions need to kick in.
I wish you luck
He won't believe anything you say if he doesn't see it on paper.
Besides, you have to be serious about what you want if you want to be taken seriously by anyone.
If you want him to believe you, back the words up. If you say you are leaving, leave and don't come back.
Serve him the papers and he can do what he wants to with it. Just go to a lawyer and do it right.
Well you're obviously not serious because you haven't left yet.
By actually doing it.
he will believe you when your things are gone when he gets home. quit talking to him about it and do it.
I think you have only a couple of choices here.
Seek counseling or pack up and get out.
When you truly leave out the door with your stuff maybe he'll believe you!
Write a letter ... hand written and spare no detail.
Do it and leave. I'm sure that will get his attention.
get an attorney. my hubby would not bother. be nice and get along for the kids sake!

Where do i start? How can I have my sister to become a surrogate mother for my husband and I?
I have had five miscarriages and two of them ended in a stillbirth. I am so afraid to try again to go through all of the pain of losing another baby. My sister, husband and I have sat down and talked about it, do anybody out there know how we can get started or even prices that would have to come out of our pocket? Please helpWhere do i start? How can I have my sister to become a surrogate mother for my husband and I?
You will need to do an IVF. The procedure has a huge range, dependong on how many tries and what is covered by insurance (or not). The procedure can cost something anywhere from $6,000 to $15,000 per IVF (depending on where you live). Try to find fertility clinics around you, or ask your doctor about it.
Good luck.Where do i start? How can I have my sister to become a surrogate mother for my husband and I?
Even though it is your sister, you will probably want to see a lawyer who deals in surrogacy, and draw up some sort of contract.
I'm very sorry about your miscarriages. Good luck with this!

Any ideas for a nice meal to fix my husband after a hectic week at work?
My husband is having a hectic week at work and I would like to do something nice and relaxing for him Friday night. Nothing TOO fancy, but may be little pampering would be nice.Any ideas for a nice meal to fix my husband after a hectic week at work?
Bar-b-q him something, have some beer ready for him and make him his favorite desert. Then while he's having a relaxing shower later, give him something *else* that will make him forget all his stress.Any ideas for a nice meal to fix my husband after a hectic week at work?
NOTE: The server cut off the bottom of this, so it's a re-do of the original:
This is a roast chicken that is one of my favorite go-to things I make all the time.
The Ingredients:
Whole chicken
Lemons
Oilve Oil
Garlic
Salt and pepper
Rosemary
At home (this really is easy, I promise. If I can do this, then anyone can), get out a big roasting pan that will hold the chicken and the veggies. Heat your oven to 400.
Wash, cut up and peel the veggies and put them in the pan. Give them a slurp of olive oil and some salt and pepper, and add a few small pieces of rosemary.
Rinse and pat the chicken dry, and get the giblets out of the cavity. Save them or toss them - whichever works. I usually don't use them, but anyway, after the chicken is clean and dry, get your hands under the skin on the breast and the thighs to pull it away a little. Give the meat under the skin a little slurp of olive oil and a little salt and pepper, and put a few small pieces of rosemary under the skin. Cut half of the lemon in really thin slices and put a few slices under the breast skin and the thigh skin. You'll be using the rest of the lemon for the juice.
Inside the cavity, give that a nice slurp of olive oil, and squeeze some lemon juice into it and throw in a few pinches of salt and pepper. Cut up a few cloves of garlic (into BIG PIECES - you don't even need to peel it) and put them into the cavity with a few pieces of cut up rosemary. Also, on the outside of the chicken, give that a nice slurp of olive oil, too (you'll probably use about 1/3 a cup between the inside cavity, the outside skin and under the skin, but the flavor is wonderful and it also keeps everything moist.) After squeezing the lemon juice on the outside of the skin, out the lemon in the inside cavity with the garlic and rosemary.
Bake the chicken for about 90 minutes and give it a poke with a thermometer to make sure it's at temperature before you take it out and let it rest a few minutes before you carve it.
I do this exact recipe about once a week, and it is D I V I N E. The chicken is moist to the point of being messy because of the oil, but it's not greasy or overly heavy because of the rosemary and lemon. The garlic and rosemary with the lemons are a wonderful combination that also lightens things up.
The prep time is really fast - like maybe 10 min from start to putting it in the oven.
That's ALL you need for amazing chicken, hon. Side dishes are whatever he likes and are also easy to do - you're limitless.
Best of luck, and I hope you enjoy!
P.S. I don't cover the chicken and cook it breast side up, and after the first hour, take it out and turn it over so the skin on the bottom gets nice and browned, too. Flipping it is NOT that hard - just get 2 really long cooking or grilling forks, and be steady. The skin in this chicken is aaaaaaaaaamazing.
P.P.S. The house will smell like a restaurant, too :D
steak and taters!!! Mmmmm
and if you bake a cake or your favorite sweets in the oven right before he gets home the house will fill up with that warm swweeeet smell and maybe give him a good back rub thats good for reliving tension you may even get lucky if ya know what i mean...
Chicken Parmesan, Pasta with olive oil, tomatoes and basil, broccoli and Chardonnay if you drink. Get some strawberries and chocolate for dipping strawberries and have them arranged nicely on a plate for dessert. Don't forget to put candles on the table and have soft music playing in the background. G/L
How about some grilled herbed chicken, some pasta salad, and baked potatoes? You could grill while he relaxes. Maybe ice cream sundaes for dessert? I bet he'd appreciate that. You sound like a very caring woman!
I would put some stakes on the barbeque grill and have a nice salad while he relaxes in a reclining chair in the shade listening to his favorite music with a nice cold beverage.

Does My Husband Qualifies for The Economic Stimulus Refund?
My husband is the only one that works. He has a social security. But I have the ITIN only. We field together. Does he still get qualifies to get a refund?Does My Husband Qualifies for The Economic Stimulus Refund?
If he has a valid social security number and qualifies by having enough earned income or paying enough Federal Income Tax in 2007, then he will qualify for the rebate. You will not.
According to the IRS:
To be eligible for a stimulus payment, taxpayers must have valid Social Security numbers. Anyone who does not have a valid Social Security number, including those who file using an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), an Adoption Taxpayer Identification Number (ATIN) or any other identification number issued by the IRS is not eligible for this payment.Does My Husband Qualifies for The Economic Stimulus Refund?
Most likely he does. It depends on your situation and you can read more about this on the irs.gov website.
This site gives you a lot of info as well. Check your situation against what they describe:

No he won't. If you filed a joint return, both of you had to have an SSN to qualify. He got more money for having you on the return anyway.

Can my husband work in Canada while he is a conditional resident of the US?
My husband is from Canada. He moved to the US to marry me. We've already gone through AOS and he is a conditional resident. My question is if we live close to the US border, can my husband work in Canada still? Can my husband work in Canada while he is a conditional resident of the US?
There would be no problem from the Canadian side. If he's a Canadian citizen, he doesn't lose that just because he has a US green card.
Is there some restriction on him to travel? If he's allowed to go to Canada with his conditional green card, then he can work there.
He might want to apply for a Nexus card to make his border crossings easier though. See http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/prog/nexus/me鈥?/a> for Nexus.cure acne beauty products

What are the most important characteristics in a potential husband?
Besides having a loving and caring partner -- what things are important when deciding to marry someone? If you can tell me from your marital experiences that would be great !What are the most important characteristics in a potential husband?
Don't marry a guy who is still living at home - he will be WAY too dependent on you to replace his mother!! LOL.....
Personally, I think the most important thing is being able to talk about things, anything, any topic. Having similar interests, and being able to have fun and interesting conversations about general stuff makes a marriage fun and stimulating.
Friendship. He needs to be a good friend. What are the most important characteristics in a potential husband?
A huge factor for me was whether or not we had the same ideals about raising kids. This was especially important in my situation because I have two kids of my own, and my husband has a child that he has full custody of, so she lives with us. If we didn't see eye to eye on things, there is no way (at least in my opinion) that we would ever have been able to work, because it is never good for a relationship or the kids if the parents are opposites in the way the raise kids.
Being friends is the utmost characteristic in our relationship. That allows us to share mutual interests, spend a lot of time together and have great sex. Since I wouldn't waste my time on a friend unless s/he was honest and kind, it has worked out wonderfully for us.
Someone who is honest; doesn't hide things from you (good as well as bad); someone who treats you with respect and courtesy; has good communication skills and is able to tell you when they don't like something; someone that you have common future goals; someone who can carry on a conversation; and someone who will support you in your dreams.
Honesty, integrity, kindness, sense of humor, respect. You want someone who loves you enough to be honest with himself and you.
Respect for each other is the most important aspect in our marriage. If you can't respect them or they won't show you respect, then life can become very difficult.
Honesty, Passion, communicative, understanding....
faithful
responsible
mature
kind
sense of humor

My husband is in the Navy leaving on deployment What device can we use to keep in touch at a decent price?
Would a blackberry be to expensive? What provider should I go through. We used our Cingular cell phones last time and the bill was $500 for one month. I cant afford that much. Thank for any help.My husband is in the Navy leaving on deployment What device can we use to keep in touch at a decent price?
Maybe your cell phone provider would allow some kind of unlimited plan for a monthly charge just for that.
If the computer worked good where he would be a, computer, web cam and microphone would do great....you could see and talk to him and vice versa.....My husband is in the Navy leaving on deployment What device can we use to keep in touch at a decent price?
Cost may be a factor, but there are satellite phones available, that will work anywhere in the world. The calls will be more expensive than a regular cell phone, but a cell will only work in certain areas that have similar equipment and standards.
My son is also in the Navy...when he is out to sea they communicate by e-mail. I don't think that the ship has a microphone to use on their computers.
if you each have a mic. on your comp. (your husband will need a computer too) use skype.

What do you think of the names my husband picked out for our twins?
Boy:
Bentley Crawford
Girl:
Chevelle Quinleigh
I do like Bentley and my middle name is Quinley. Chevelle and Crawford are iffy, though. What do you think? What do you think of the names my husband picked out for our twins?
Bentley is great, and since Quinleigh is a family name it's nice because it has meaning.
Crawford and Chevelle...horrible. Sorry :(What do you think of the names my husband picked out for our twins?
Do you realize both Bentley and Chevelle are cars? That is mean for twins. Actually, it is mean for any kids. I also like Bentley, it is a good name. But for the girl, I would pick something a little more modern-classic. Maybe Charlotte Quinleigh and Bentley James? The middle name Crawford makes the name Bentley a bit too weird. With a different first name, stick with a classic middle name so your son has a choice to go by the more common name later in life. Same with a strange middle name. You need a more classic first name for your daughter so she has a choice between a different name and a ';normal'; one.
I think its kinda lame to name both your twins after cars. Maybe change one of them to something that isn't related to cars? Maybe Bentley and Quinley.
So cute!! Congrats!!
Bentley is okay. Chevelle sounds like a girls name.
Bentley Crawford is okay, but how about Quinley Chase instead of Chevelle?
Not a fan of either name to be honest - they're not all that great IMO. If I were you I'd talk to your husband and rethink the names. What names do you like, though? It's not only up to your husband.
Sorry that I didn't like them,
G2B
they sound like names of cars. Why is he trying to be cruel?
both of your husbands are horrible sorry what about something else?
I like all of it but Chevelle, sounds like perfume
Bentley Crawford sounds really nice, but im not so sure about Chevelle... besides that they are lovely though... :)
I think your husband likes cars...I don't like object names so Bentley and Chevelle are out. Crawford is cute if a little pretentious; Qunileigh is awful.
Hahaha sooo white trash. Love it.
love them
I thinks a little harsh to name your son and daughter after cars. They are not toys, they are beautiful children that you're blessed with. It's not very nice to name them after a bunch of metal. Bentley, I don't like that name. Chevelle sounds like some sort of perfume, or a really snobby girl.
I do however, like the names Quinleigh. Crawford sounds like a last name, and it just...doesn't seem right to me.
Nice names for your twins, that I like, anyway, would be Caris Quinn and Chase Quinleigh. Though I don't think yours children's middle names should be variations of the other,
Seriously, though, think about the fact that you're naming your son and daughter after cars
