My husband has been wrongly accused of sexual harassment. How can someone prove they didn't do it?

My husband has been wrongly accused of sexual harassment. He believes the company wanted to get rid of him because he's soon leaving for military duty. The Illinois unemployment office gave him money for the month he was looking for a job, but now we are in the appeals process because they found him guilty. He has not been able to defend himself because he has been constantly gone for military reasons during these hearings and the unemployment office has refused to reschedule for him. What can we do?My husband has been wrongly accused of sexual harassment. How can someone prove they didn't do it?
It's sweet that you're standing by your man.My husband has been wrongly accused of sexual harassment. How can someone prove they didn't do it?
You probably ought to consult with a lawyer. In many cases you simply cannot prove you did not do something, and you must instead rely on the fact that the employer must prove he did.
Contact USERRA. I don't know the link off hand, but they're the agency that handles employers who are biased against reserve and national guard members.
if a company wanted to get rid of him there are much cleaner ways to do it than framing him for sexual harrassment
maybe he did do it ... :S i say you divorce him
