It may be a abscess or boil. Try a moist hot compress. Wet a towel or rag with hot water. Apply it to the area for 20 min. or so. Do it at least 4x's per day. It will get even more tender and hurt alot. But that's just part of it. The moist compress will bring the puss to the surface and eventually pop itself. It will get a little bigger because of all the puss coming up. If it spreads in size, meaning area, go to the doctor a.s.a.p. My dad had something like that and it was some kind of tissue eating something or rather. It was removed. But just keep that in mind. If it is getting larger with nothing appearing to surface and not stopping you should go to the doctor a.s.a.p.
