How should we spend Thanksgiving and Christmas while we are separated? Last year, we spent Thanksgiving as a family and then went on a vacation during Christmas (although we were separated then). This year, my husband is living with someone else so I'm not sure how we should handle the holidays. My daughter is not too comfortable being around her father and his girlfriend, so what should we do?What to do with children during holidays when husband and I are separated?
Help your daughter to learn how to be comfortable around her father. Talk to her about her concerns, brainstorm with her to come up with solutions that respect her father and that encourage a growing, healthy relationship with him.
You %26amp; your ex should make a plan that works best for both sides of you children's family. If you all want to do holidays together, then that's great. If you'd rather keep them separate, then do so with respect towards each other and the children. If you want to find a combination of these things, that's fine, too - one or two things together -and- building new traditions on your own, in the newly shaped family groups. What to do with children during holidays when husband and I are separated?
Well you need to split it up. Thanksgiving every other year. Christmas- two families have to share. Christmas eve one year, Christmas day another.
It has worked out quite well with my oldest and her dad. Everyone is divoreced and we end up having to go to 4 christmas's in 24 hours. But everyone is happy, I guess that is what matters.
I guess your only options would be to spend the holidays with YOUR family, or if that isn't possible, perhaps you could just try and plan on doing something yourself at home, and perhaps inviting a few family members to your place for Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
If none of that is possible, then you just have to explain to the kids that this is one good example of how sometimes in life people just have to deal with hard times and difficult situations and do the best they can.... always remembering that there are millions of people around the world who would swap places with you in a heartbeat because, compared to their miseries, they would find your life just wonderful.
Maybe you could arrange for your husband to come over of Christmas morning to watch the children open presents. Then let him have them on Thanksgiving. Or maybe work it out so that he can have them on Christmas Eve until a certain time and then brings them home... then comes over Christmas morning for a little while, eats breakfast with the kids and you and then you have them for the rest of the day. (?) Hope it works out. That's a tough one.
I would say that this year you have the kids for the holidays and let your husband come over and spend time with them without his girlfriend.
Is the girlfriend the cause of the breakup of your marriage? If so, your husband made his choice and it is up to you and your children.
If not, grit your teeth and invite him for tea, or something short and sweet. Talk to the kids and see what they want.
Unfortunately, your daughter will have to get used to whomever you or your estranged spouse date. My ex-husband and I split the holidays, he gets my daughter Thanksgiving on the odd numbered years, me on the even, Christmas I get odd years he gets the even years. He and I also live close enough that if I also want her some during the Christmas season I can have her at least 1/2 the day. It is what you make it.. If you make it difficult then that is what it will be, flexibility for the benefit of the child is what is most important.
Fortunately i'm a guy. But, honestly, if i were you. I will take my children with me. I would try my very best to be with my dearest child and play with my kids..
I wouldn't care much about my wife anymore... My kid is the most important thing in my life now.. they'll bring me joy and happiness of my life.. And i will always treasure every moment me and my kids had together...
Well... i hope you'll stay with your kids...
I wont have this problem because there is no way I will let my kids go off with my ex-wife.
Pehaps you could arrange for him to take them to his families house this Thanksgiving. And then you can have him join your and the children on Christmas morning, without his new girlfriend, and then leave while you spend Christmas with the kids.
how sad this all is. but the kids come first, so i say every adult suck it up and make the holidays about the kids. if that means you have to spend time with him and her - and they have to spend time with you - so be it! its two days out of the year.
either that, or he has them one holiday and you the next.
Get a web cam over the computer kk
I don't know what your relationship is like with your ex...and I am not divorced...but if I were in your situation and I wanted to make the holidays enjoyable for my children I would ask my husband and his girlfriend to host Thanksgiving dinner at their house (with my name included on the guest list) then I would spend Christmas morning at home with the children and invite the ex and the girlfriend to my house for Christmas dinner. It might not be 100% ccomfortable, but I would suck it up for the kid's sake
watever the children want! it's not about you if you guys really love them!

What fun things can I send my deployed husband to keep him involved in my daughter's life?
My husband leaves for deployment to Afghanistan tomorrow. Of course I will send him pictures and videos of our 7-month-old daughter as well as keep her baby blog updated. But, do you have any fun ideas for other things I can send to him to keep him involved in my daughter's life? I'm thinking about making a scrapbook of her hand prints every day that he is gone so that he can watch her hands grow even if he can't watch her grow. Any other crafty things you can think of doing with a baby? What fun things can I send my deployed husband to keep him involved in my daughter's life?
- Help her color pictures (hold her hand w/ a crayon in it and scribble or draw simple shapes) and then help her write To Daddy From (Her Name). What fun things can I send my deployed husband to keep him involved in my daughter's life?
Scrapbooks are great! I made one both times my husband was deployed and filled them with cards, letters, pictures, song lyrics, etc. He read and re-read them while over there.
It sounds like you have wonderful ideas already with the photos, videos, and blog updates.
God bless you and your family. My family's dearest thoughts are with you all.
What about write him letters ';from'; the baby? ';Dear Daddy, Today I spilled my juice cup and mommy said I cant have the car for a week...';
';Dear Daddy, today mommy broke a sweat trying to get my shoes on me so we had a happy trip to the Walmart shoe department.';
hand prints and foot prints too? send them snail mail?
can you sit her in her highchair with one of those big fat toddler crayons and help her scribble a ';picture'; for daddy, and take pics of her while she does it. Again, send this all snail mail.
What are some of his favorite things? Baseball? can you send pics of her in a team shirt with a ';Dear Daddy, the stupid yankees lost again and it was so boring I slept through the game';?
halloween, send him somethings (ahead of time) so that father and daughter can have similar outfits for the evening, as if he were taking her trick or treating himself...
His favorite food -';Dear Daddy, today I tried BBQ ribs and I am not impressed. you will have to show me when you get home...';
I wish I had better ideas. Good luck to all of you.

Is it okay to have sex with my husband while getting rid of yeast infection?
Is it okay to have sex with my husband while getting rid of yeast infection or is that just disgusting? Is it okay to have sex with my husband while getting rid of yeast infection?
I'm in your boat. The medication I'm taking (otc monistat) advises against it for the simple fact that having sex will remove the medicine from its proper place. We're just waiting it out.
If you do want to, make him wear a condom so at least he's protected from the infection, but it could still slow your healing. Is it okay to have sex with my husband while getting rid of yeast infection?
An emphatic no! While treating yourself, is your husband being treated as well? Yeast infection in men is very common, more common than you think. If you have the candida virus, the it is very likely he does too.
Some studies have stated many people have the virus laying dormant, but because there have a healthy immune system, it cant show the physical effects that are connected to this condition.
I would recommend that you both get treated at the same time and avoid sexual intimacy until you have finished the treatment. By using a 100% natural treatment that has no side effects and can be used by both of you in the comfort of your own home, you can eliminate all forms of your yeast infection, including vaginal thrush and bacterial vaginosis effectively.
Definitely not I would say.
The fungus that causes a yeast infection thrives in the bodies of men and women so I would say it is very likely if not certain that you will pass on the infection.
Anyway won't it be rather unpleasant for you, it must be very irritated down there?
If you are having trouble getting rid of the infection the site below has some useful info.
No. Even though you're getting rid of it... It's still an infection and it's still there.
If your husband had cut his lip open, and it was all green and big, would you still kiss him?
No buddy, you wouldn't... you'd wait for it to heal and be gone.
Not only is it disgusting and possibly very painful, it will delay your healing AND you may also pass the infection on to him. Your best bet to a fast recovery is to hold out for at least a week.
No. It is very likely you would pass on the yeast infection to him. It happened to me with my husband. He had to go the dr and get a cream to help clear his up.
No, you don't want to do that.
its disgusting and you also can pass it on him, be careful, not to mention you may not get rid off at all, since he can get it and give it back to you..
Don't do it just because it's disgusting. You can also give it to him. Unless that's your plan. LOL.
i will suggest to avoid sex while u r healed properly.it can create complications

My husband has a chance to travel to Afghanistan for work how safe is it?
it is doing electrical contracting, we are Canadian so I think it will be on a Canadian military base.
I am asking here because you are all wives/mothers/and have children
our daughter is 5.
Also he has been out of work since Christmas and we have no money. My husband has a chance to travel to Afghanistan for work how safe is it?
My hubby is an electrician and he wanted to do this too. We are Canadian as well.. living in Ontario and I said ABSOLUTLEY NOT! My son and I need him too much to allow him to risk his life over there. There are tons of jobs that he can find around here.My husband has a chance to travel to Afghanistan for work how safe is it?
I would say totally do it! My husband is a translator and the money is phenomenal! Also, he's been deployed through army, so scared but with your husbands work he will be on a secured base with constant ppl on guard watching the surroundings. Pretty safe actually.
My husband, kids and I were in Israel for his work for a very short amount of time and my youngest sister was also there studying abroad for 6mo.
We left about a week before a whole bunch of problems broke out. My sister only 2 days before.
It terrifies me to think what may have happened.
Not all of Afghanistan is ';dangerous';. But there is always a risk. I have a friend who is living there with her husband and they love it! She actually came back for a vist 2 weeks ago and brought me a pashmina :)
There's a risk no matter where you are. but in a war torn country it's a lot higher.
Chances are you'll be absolutely fine, and have no problems.
But there is a risk, and it's a higher risk than most countries pose.
So my advice is to weigh up the pros and cons and then decide which is best for you and your family.
Good luck :)
My husband is a excavator and was actually offered this same opportunity. He refused it because it is EXTREMELY dangerous and contractors aren't allowed to arm themselves with a gun. Good luck!
It is still very dangerous over there even if you aren't on the front lines, honestly I would ask him not to go unless ya'll really need the money.
I'm going to be honest..it is still pretty dangerous over there! I wouldn't be comfortable with it at all!
you have no money- but you have a computer and internet
I would let my hubby go over there for work- it is dangerous!!!!!!!!!!

How to apply Portuguese nationality passport for my husband?
We have married more than 3 years but I had a previous marriage dissolved. But I never register my previous marriage on my Portuguese Birth Cretificate and ID, would that make any different to apply.
I knew we need to register for marriage first, then what next? How to apply Portuguese nationality passport for my husband?
You will have now to deal with the complicated burocracy of the portuguese. Register your marriage and divorce (dissolved marriage) in your birth certificate, change your ID card to married then change it to divorcee angain and only then, register your new marriage. It will be three years from the marriage date before you can apply for citinzenship for him, so he can have a passport. So I麓d say, at least 4 years in the wait.
OR
You can go to the portuguese consulate, register your new marriage and wait for 3 years to ask for citizenship for your husband so he can get a passport. But NEVER under any circumstance declare that you had a previous marriage. That way it will save you a lot of trouble.
Also, if you changed your name, you will have to change your name in the portuguese ID card, which will also take a while and it麓s pretty complicated. I know all this, because I too, dreamt of having the same nationality as my husband, but the trouble...it麓s not worth it.How to apply Portuguese nationality passport for my husband?

Since you've been married for over three years, your husband is eligible for citizenship by registration. Contact the nearest Portugese embassy for the process or, if you are both in Portugal, the local MFA office.moon drops beauty products

My husband is not well endowed. Any women in similar situations? What can be done to spice things up?
My husband and I have been married for 7 years. We have two kids. After having two children, I am not as tight as I use to be. My husband is not well endowed, thus I feel almost nothing when we're having intercourse (let's just say he's less than 5 inches). Are there any women who are in a similar situation? What else can be done to heat things up to make up for the lack of my husband's size?My husband is not well endowed. Any women in similar situations? What can be done to spice things up?
well id try the exersizes the other women have mentioned you sound irritated hun. maybe have him preform oral sex on you before intercourse. i do my bf that way not because of your reason but because i cant orgasm from sex alone so if i dont get mine he isnt gonna get his sounds mean maybe but it works for us. and he is ok with it so im happyMy husband is not well endowed. If you want to tighten things up do some Keigel exercises. It helps add to a woman's sexual pleasure. Do them regularly and see if you notice a difference.
Vibrators work well..he wont be intimidated because you can get the cute ones that look like hearts or something and not a penis so he wont feel inadequate
I'm in a similar situation. You don't mention if you've tried different positions, but I find that girl-on-top is the best position for me - which is weird, because with earlier, ';bigger'; partners I HATED that position! This position also allows for him to stimulate your clitoris manually, so that even if you don't feel anything in your vagina, at least you're still having fun :)
We've gotten a small vibrator that we use on occasion, but most of the time we just make sure that I climax pre-intercourse with either manual or oral stimulation, in case I don't climax during intercourse.
I know that sometimes it frustrates me, and I think about other partners I've had and what it felt like to do it with someone on the other extreme... But as long as you love him, you should be able to be open with him. Good luck, hon!
try using a pump, and pump pump pump it up
You can do Kegel exercises to firm yourself back up.
You have to be really misguided to be worried about that.

My husband and I are hoping to adopt soon. Where can I find birthmothers who are interested in adoption?
We would love to privately adopt a newborn up to 5 months of age. Is there any secure online networking for adoptive parents and birth parents? My husband and I are hoping to adopt soon. Where can I find birthmothers who are interested in adoption?
Having experienced the adoption journey myself, I would highly recommend talking to an adoption agency rather than trying to find someone on the internet. That isn't to say that there aren't legitimate sites out there, but I've hard so many horror stories of adoption scams through the internet. An adoption agency can provide you with all the information you need and set you up with birth parents, etc. It's definitely worth having the added security of the agency to make sure everything runs smoothly.
We used Adoptions from the Heart (www.adoptionsfromtheheart.org).
Good luck to you.My husband and I are hoping to adopt soon. Where can I find birthmothers who are interested in adoption?
Thanks. I'm sorry that you couldn't find the exact answer you were looking for. Perhaps if you look up adoption attorney in the phone book, they might be able to point you in the right direction for private adoptions. Just a thought. Good luck to you.
I agree with using an agency but, I recommend finding a local adoption agency in your area.
Our homestudy took three months to complete and we met our children's birthmother six months after being approved. They provide her excellent counseling which was very important to us.
Good luck on your journey.

There's a DJ heard in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth/ Metroplex Texas area named Delilah on radio station 103.7 FM. from 7-12 midnight. Though hers is a love-song-oriented show, she steadfastly promotes adoption because she has supposedly addopted 5 of her own (pictures on her site are usually constant and abundant). Go to: www@dradiodelilah.com. If you don't find the specific section mentioning this information, go ahead and email them or call 1.866.Delilah. I'll bet she would be happy to ';point the way'; for you. Good luck!

there's no safe way to go about finding your own birthmother on your own. you are not protected by anyone. you either need to get with an attorney or an agency. i know the cost is higher, but your emothional and possible financial wellbeing are well worth it.
Have you gone through the whole process? You will have to have a home-study done and this can take up to a year. Regardless if you go through an agency or a lawyer the state you are in will have to approve you for an adoption. You can take classes thru your state and they can locate birth parents for you within the ages you are wanting to adopt. If you have done all the requirements.. I wish you all the luck. I am an adoptee.. I think you are just Awesome to want to adopt a child!!!

You can take classes thru your state and they can locate birth parents for you within the ages you are wanting to adopt. If you have done all the requirements.. I wish you all the luck. I am an adoptee.. I think you are just Awesome to want to adopt a child!!!
What special thing could I do for my husband?
For the past few days I've been in a mood. I've been kind of grumpy, so I want to do something special for my husband. Not sexual or cooking him dinner, but another idea. What special thing could I do?What special thing could I do for my husband?
Stop being grumpy. What special thing could I do for my husband?
you go out and get your hair done, and secretly arrange for 2 of your fittest mates to go round and seduce him, i bet when you get home he will have a big smile on his face.
How about not posting this question a million times and wasting space!
Make him feel useful, wanted and special. Put your arms around him and pour your heart out.
Only a man can answer this but also do you give head if not try it!
take him out on a DATE, dinner and a movie, or something he enjoys doing be part of it
be spontaneous meet him at the door naked and see what happens

My husband past away and I would like to meet new people I'm out of practice. How can I go about it?
I'm not a person who can meet people easily and yet I would love the company of the opposite sex. I want to meet someone who is sweet, and honest and doesn't play mind games. How do I go about it?My husband past away and I would like to meet new people I'm out of practice. How can I go about it?

Some people join clubs or activities and meet others. Some join internet social sites (be careful with that one when it comes to first dates-there are plenty of tips on the internet how to do so safely). Some let their friends know they are interested in dating and get hooked up on blind dates from wiling friends who want to help you move on...
Regardless of what avenue you choose, all or some..gotta start somewhere. Age aint nothing but a number...

What are you interested in? Join a club, or take a class in that activity. Anyone you meet there will be easy to talk to because they share your interest. When I first came to Chicago, 42 yrs ago, I loved to play bridge, so I joined 2 bridge clubs, made lots of friends through them. Then I met a really cute nurse in line at a hot dog stand. She couldn't remember the difference between a club and a spade, but we've been married for 42 yrs.

I'd also recommend checking the local news papers or local whatever for local clubs and events.
Join a church and start attending the activities. Become a mentor to young women. Become involved in the politics of your city or town. Attend art shows community affairs. Spend time with friends who may introduce you to someone. You will not meet anyone at home. Get out there and start living.
Go to a grieving meeting. I know someone that did and met a great man who was very sympathetic towards her and her situation because he was also grieving his wife. P.S. She went to one in a really affluent neighborhood, and he was also very wealthy. They ended up getting married. Great Love Story.

My husband and I are separated due to my insecurities. How can I get him back?
My husband wouldn't talk about the root of the issues in question, and it caused me to obsess on the problem. How can I get him to understand that I still love him?My husband and I are separated due to my insecurities. How can I get him back?
Resolve the issue. Make goals to communicate more properly, become open-honest and BE secure not just act like it. best of luck, dear.My husband and I are separated due to my insecurities. How can I get him back?
That is The Problem!
You have fallen into the trap of being overly obsessed about his needs. To him you appear needy and desperate. The chase is over and you are trapped. Men want to date and chase their wives throughout the marriage.
If you want you husband to absolutely Fall head over heels for you sounds crazy ';Totally Ignore him!'; Rediscover yourself this is the time to better yourself find a hobby or activity. This will create conversation starters that are not wrapped up around the relationship itself. He should not be just the title husband, he should feel like you are his best friend. Best friends don't obsess about one another.
He may be struggling with a issue that he cannot discuss with you at this time. Men are not as verbal as us ladies are. He is not feminine. Change the subject and become more mysterious allow him to wonder where you are at times. Rediscovering your passions in life will spark his passion in you.
Men like to feel as if they are with a Woman that is desired by others an unpredictable in a good way his GIFT! Gifts are to be opened and cherished. That is what you have to become to your husband his prize over and over again! A little more unpredictable. Men feel emasculated when we try to fix them or their issues. Men feel like heros when we allow them to fix ours.
You need to get some self confidence in yourself and that you have your man and know that no one can have him but you.

My husband is currently serving a 2 year sent on Violation of a Protective Order. Is he Parole eligible ?
Does anyone have experience on these type of situations? He has served 6 months already in county jail and has been transferred to TDC now to serve the remainder. He has '; heard'; he could be parole eligible, but would that be based on his history? Would it be worth hiring a parole attorney? My husband is currently serving a 2 year sent on Violation of a Protective Order. Is he Parole eligible ?
nbMy husband is currently serving a 2 year sent on Violation of a Protective Order. Is he Parole eligible ?
maybe. it depends on his past record. it also depends on the prison pop. if they are overcrowded then he has a good chance. if not then u may not be spending much time with him for a while.
You're asking a group made up of mostly illiterate 16 year olds and people pretending to be cops (see all answers above me). How about asking someone versed in this, you know, like a lawyer instead of people who are going pass off ridiculously bad guesses as answers?
idk he might you need to ask the judge
well ok
I am sure he is eligible for parole. My friend had similar situation - she hired a lawer and the guy got a parole. Good luck
An attorney would help, but as an interested party,
you can ask to be notified of, and to speak at, any hearing.
It all depends on what state, country, etc. is handling him.
Why not ask them?moon drops beauty products

My husband is deployed and has past unpaid medical bills. Is there any help for our situation?
Last April my husband had surgery. He is also a member of the Army National Guard (and was at the time of his surgery). Now he is deployed and I have these medical people calling me, about a surgery he had last April. The bill is way up there, and we need help. Can someone please point me in any direction. My husband is deployed and has past unpaid medical bills. Is there any help for our situation?
Google the term'; soldiers and sailors relief act';. It will give you some information about what creditors can and cannot do when a service member is deployed - including limits on interest and late fees.My husband is deployed and has past unpaid medical bills. Is there any help for our situation?
The National Guard and other reserve programs do not provide medical insurance to reserve program members unless they have been called to active duty. Coverage when on active duty is called TriCare.
Thus, unless he was in a recall situation last April, he would have been covered by his employer or by an individual medical plan. That plan would then be responsible for the surgery.
If he did not have other coverage then you would be responsible for the surgery related expenses.

How to heal a few callus that my husband has in his knees?
We know that they sell some stuff to use in your toes, but what about the knees? How to heal a few callus that my husband has in his knees?
As long as there are no open sores or cuts on the knees, it is fine to use the same medication on your toes and knees. If they are thoroughly callused, a file may be useful in getting rid of the dead skin. Beware that the knees will be more tender after using the file and medication, though.

My husband and I have just over $40,000 to invest for the next 3 months?
We are planning on buying a home in 3 months or so, but we don't want to let the money sit idle in a savings account with a low return. What do you advise. We also don't want to be tied down to a CD as the return rates are not great and their are steep penalties for removing prior to maturation.
Thanks All!My husband and I have just over $40,000 to invest for the next 3 months?
Consider the Vanguard Prime Money Market Fund with a current compound yield of ~5.05% APR.

If you are in a high tax bracket you may prefer their tax exempt money market funds:

Sometimes other institutions will have a higher teaser rate, but Vanguard tends to have the highest yields I've found over the long run. (Vanguard money markets are not FDIC insured, however.)

ING and HSBC often have rates close to Vanguard, and most of their products are FDIC insured. You can check these at the following links:

petroleum is always a good investment!
If the feds lower the rates tommorrow the savings rates at the banks WILL BE HIT! CD's are not an option here because I don't know of any with a 3 month term. I want to say the market itself but something safe...well this can work and ETF IPE its a tips play and they do pay out a dividend every month. plus that pice has jumped up within the past two weeks. Anything else and its a higher risk like CWI or PWJ (a good growth play and all three I own) if you can afford to take a little risk but you would be better off playing it safe go with online bank.
and stay away from Forex....
Try a money-market fund. Typically the returns of such funds exceed fixed deposits and they do not have any lock-in period.
Use an online savings that pays about 5% and is liquid. Also brokers have what is called a sweep account that usually pays a little over 5%; that is about the highest return your going to get on liquid funds.
If you need the money quickly try a high yield online savings account. They have no restrictions on your money, and they link directly to your current checking account.
ING Direct 4.30% APY
Emigrant Direct 4.75% APY
Both offer much better rates than a typical hometown bank savings account. FDIC Insured as well.
It depends on where you are.
$40,000 is enough to get an ';okay'; financial analyst.
Personally, I would hold on to it as I see nothing going good in US economy.
Maybe investing in foreign money is a good choice but the US dollar has dropped too low for it to be feasible.
Im not sure on what your looking for, the best your going to get is somewhere between $1-2k no matter what you do. Granted $40k for a down payment is still a good chunk of change, depending on where you live and how much your wanting to pay for your house.
I would say that you should exchange it for EUR at a rate 1,43 and after New Year's where there is also a decline in the EUR/USD exch rate trade it back at say 1,4399 and earn some extra cash.
PS.Consult a FOREX expert beforehand.

My husband has shared joint legal and shared physical custody of the kids. Can he get bah?
My husband went to court and has a court order stating that him and his ex shared custody of the kids. The kids live with the mother until June. My husband pays child support for the kids. Can he still get bah while the kids live with their mother? My husband has the kids all during the school year starting in June and the mother has the kids during Christmas break and during the summer. I'm not sure if that' relevant, but just in case I wanted to put that in there. My husband has shared joint legal and shared physical custody of the kids. Can he get bah?
Well he should be getting bah with dependents anyways. I have joint physical/legal but the only difference in my pay is like an extra 250 i get bah with dependents which doesnt really help much considering i pay almost 600 in child support neways for one kid. Tell him to ask his admin shop i have a really good admin shop here so they explained it all to me.
-oh one other thing tho if he is married to you he is probably already getting bah with dependents so i dont think his pay will change. My husband has shared joint legal and shared physical custody of the kids. Can he get bah?
he will not get BAH w/dependents unless the children are with him 50% of the total year. With the child support being stated he might qualify for BAH-diff in which it is the difference between BAH w/o dependents and BAH w/dependents if his total child support payments are more than the amount. The only way he would get BAH w/dependents while he is OCONUS is if he had unaccompanied orders. You are with him so no he will not get it.
As long as your in base housing he is ineligible for BAH.
Either you get BAH and live in civilian housing or you live in base housing free. That's the way it works. Before you ask, no he does not get more pay because he has more kids. He gets the same if he has 1 or 10 kids.
you are married, he is already getting the max entitlement of BAH. even if he NEVER had the kids he'd be entitled to BAH because of you.

My husband gets epidural shots for the pain in his back. Can the shots take aways his sex drive?
My husband is 61 and our sex life was great up until 3 yrs ago.Now he has no interest at all. He's been getting epidural shots in his lower back for the pain.Is it possible that the epidurals are taking his sex drive away? I love my husband very much and I am afraid that having no sex will tear our relationship apart. Is it possible to be close to your husband when we don;t make love anymore? My husband gets epidural shots for the pain in his back. Can the shots take aways his sex drive?
I'm a Chiropractor, and worked for years with an orthopedic doctor who did lots of epidurals. I don't know of any special reason they should take away his sex drive, but a problem like this can really wear you out and generally run you down where sex might not be very interesting.
How many injections are they planning on giving him? I've never noticed that they help very much except in the short run (they do a great job of making the Doctor a lot of money though). See a chiropractor, start exercising, get massages. If he has a hernia get an operation, otherwise ditch the epidurals, which can also have serious side effects. My husband gets epidural shots for the pain in his back. Can the shots take aways his sex drive?
It could and maybe it is his age. Talk to doctor about this and maybe you will have to help turn him on.
Yes because you share a lot of nerves in that area. This can also be a mental problem as well. This is a very traumatic thing to go through and can have an effect on your sub thought.
The pain will reduce the sexual drive because the act is causing pain. And if this is been going on for 3 years, I would see another doctor - Orthepedic Surgeon.
I, female, spent 6 years in backpain waiting for disability to approve me for proper medical treatment. Once the problem was corrected (lumbar fusion) the sex drive was in full swing.
PS I sure hope you have more in your relationship than just sex.
Maybe, why don't you tell him to drink a cup of lobelia inflata tea. This is an herb, but it is also the strongest natural muscle relaxer in the world and it is easy to make, takes away all kinds of pains and the users think the world of it. Mainly because after one cup, you can have a couch made of concrete and you will think it is the softest thing you have ever sat on. After two cups while you won't fall asleep, you will feel like a cooked piece of spaghetti. I am a few months shy of my 60th b'day and I do this for the pain in my legs.
It's kind of hard to say for sure because you don't mention what is in that shots he's getting. The word Epidural only tells you the location, not the chemical used. My assumption is a steriod of some form (which is pretty typical for that type of pain).
First, I would check the side effects of the chemical itself. If it is a side effect, perhaps your docs can recommend something different.
Second, it very well might just be that he's hurting too much. Try potentially suggesting positions that would take 100% of the stress of his back. Maybe even hot baths or massages first would do the trick.
Third, while sexual drive does decline as you age, it's not a massive decline or halt unless there is something wrong with one of the partners. What you two have is called intimacy because of your age and again my assumption that you have been together for quite some time. Use that level of intimacy to bring him in on the problem too. If you approach it as a no-blame no-disappointment issue and get him to have fun experimenting with you again to find what doesn't hurt him, that might help find your solution. I'm sure he loves you and wants to continue your previous levels of sex and intimacy, he just might have impairments he can't control easily right now.
It is more likely the back pain is responsible for his loss of sex drive
Sorry, the shots probably aren't to blame. The injections are given in order to ease pain in spinal column nerves. It has nothing to do with sexual function.
He may be experiencing an age-related change in hormones or the pain itself could be causing the problem. Talk to him about how you feel, suggest he see a doctor.

My Husband I found a abandon four day old baby kitten?
We need help of feeding the kitten and how to take care the kitten.
We never take care of four day old kitten before. My Husband I found a abandon four day old baby kitten?
Buy Kitten Milk (NOT COWS MILK), and buy a kitten bottle or seringe. And feed the recomednded amount.
When feeding hold the kitten in a towl, after he has finished rub her behind (makes her pee, mum would do this).
Make sure she has no fleas or she will become enemic, at around 3-4 weeks try her on tuna.
Good luck feel free to email meMy Husband I found a abandon four day old baby kitten?
You actually have a lot of options for this one, but you need to act really fast on any of them! First, if you don't want to, or don't feel like you can, take care of the kitten, immediately take it to a humane society close to you, as they will be able to care for it. If you wanna try and take care of it yourself though then go to Wal-Mart, in the pets section, and find the newborn kitten milk, and the recommended size bottle for it. Now you can feed the kitty, and it will be getting the nutrition that it needs. Also make sure that you feed it on a regular schedule, as it needs to eat often, and give it a nice and WARM place to sleep, kittens have to stay warm at all times. No baths unless it has terrible fleas, until it is much older, about 6 weeks or so, make sure that you check up on it often as well. You can call a vet and ask them for any additional advice that they can give you, they will probably help you a little at least. Don't give the kitten regular milk though because it can cause diarrhea and cause the kitten to die from anemia. Lastly, watch for fleas, as they also cause anemia, and fast! I have found that vinegar and water spray helps to keep them off of young kittens, but it doesn't do the whole trick.
If you %26amp; your husband are willing to hand rear this kitten you need to be prepared to treat it like a newborn baby. I think they need feeding every two hours.
If you contact your local vet practice or rescue centre %26amp; explain to them that you are willing to take care of it they should be able to provide you with the correct milk etc %26amp; advice. Alternitively they may know of a foster family that may take the kitten %26amp; hand rear if you are unable to.
Have you had a look around the area you found kitty to see if mum is looking for him?
Get with a shelter. Chances are they have a nursing mom cat who could adopt your kitten. You might even be able to foster her. If that's not possible, the shelter will be glad to tell you everything you need to know and show you techniques. They can also help you with finding a home for the kitten if you can't keep it yourself. Shelters are great with these kinds of things and hands-on help along with the support of some seasoned veterans is priceless in these situations.
You need to bottle feed the kitten, go to your nearest pet store and purchase kitten replacement milk in powder or liquid. Do not use home recipes, they do not work well, nor does cow milk. Buy a kitten nurser bottle as well. You need to feed the kitten every 2 to 4 hours including overnight or it will die.Check websites for how much you should feed the kitten. Also put it in a small box with a blanket and keep in warm semi dark room out of the sun. Do not put near A/C vent. Kitten needs to be about 80 degrees. too cold or too hot is not good. You must stimulate the kittens bladder after a feeding with warm water on a cotton ball. Stroke the kittens genitals until it urines, like a mother cat licks the kitten. Look up on line how to care for the kitten, lots of great wedsites out their which will help you care for him, also take him to the vet as soon as possible to be check out and see if he is doing okay. Websites will tell you how to check his weight progress etc and problems to look out for. Good Luck!
get the kind of bottle nipple that is long and narrow... not like a U
it is easier to get them to drink.
When you wipe thier bottom wet the rag so it is more like momma's toung.
You will have to be mom... so feeding every 2 house is a must...
After about 3 weeks buy the formula that is for older kittens ... don't wait ... they need the extra neutrician.
When it is about 4 weeks old you will have to get a sand box.. I use the lid of a shoe box at this age.... It will play in it at first but eventually you will be able to seed it with the babies poo and it will start digging.
You can also ask around and find a suragut mom who will take on a new member.
good luck. %26gt;^..^%26lt;

My husband's a police officer, and he had an exposure to anhydrous ammonia. Possible long term side effects?
My husband received a call that there were people who broke into the fertilizer plant. As he was walking around looking for whoever was there, he stepped into a cloud of anhydrous ammonia. It was enough to drop him to the ground, unable to breath. When the other officers arrived, they immediately poured water on him, and he went to the hospital. He was treated and released.
The doctors have said he might develop asthma, but what other complications could he possibly have from the exposure? My husband's a police officer, and he had an exposure to anhydrous ammonia. Possible long term side effects?
Your husband will be fine. Ammonia is so suffocatingly irritating, it's difficult to breath in enough to suffer permanent side effects, provided that one survives the initial exposure.
It's the chronic exposure, or repeated exposure that poses the real long term danger. The people working inside the plant for example.
I'd suggest not even worrying about your husband developing asthma as a result of this. Of course if he does, then make sure to track any respiratory problems that he develops back to this exposure so that it can be properly treated under a workman's comp claim. My husband's a police officer, and he had an exposure to anhydrous ammonia. Possible long term side effects?
Caustic Nature
Anhydrous ammonia forms an alkali when in contact with water, and it chemically burns animal tissue. The chemical will burn its way into the body unless it is diluted by vast quantities of water. Anhydrous ammonia is extremely destructive to animal tissue. The skin is reduced to a sticky, gooey substance as the chemical burn progresses. Skin that is chemically burned by the ammonia is actually killed and is not capable of healing or replacing itself. Damaged tissue must be removed by a medical doctor so that healing can proceed. The results can often be disfiguring.
Types of Exposure
Anhydrous ammonia has a very strong affinity for water. It requires vast quantities of water to neutralize the caustic effects of anhydrous ammonia on moist areas of the body. Such areas include the eyes, breathing system (mouth, throat, bronchial tubes, lungs), and especially moist skin (skin which is damp from perspiration; arm pits, groin, forehead, scalp, feet).
Skin
Anhydrous ammonia will cause freezing and chemical burn wherever the skin and clothing are moist. The sub-zero temperature of escaping anhydrous ammonia will freeze clothing to the body. Do not attempt to remove any clothing that is frozen to the skin. It must be thawed loose first or skin tissue may be pulled from the victim.
The caustic nature of anhydrous ammonia will cause skin and tissue burns similar to burns from heat. Do not apply salves, creams, or ointments of any kind to the injury. The caustic burning can only be stopped by dilution with large quantities of water.
Eyes
The eyes are continually bathed in moisture. Anhydrous ammonia will seek out this moisture. The burns will result in damage to the eyes such as cataracts, glaucoma, and possibly some permanent vision loss and disfigurement.
If the eyes have been exposed to anhydrous ammonia they must be immediately and continually flushed with water and then victim taken to a doctor immediately. Everyone who works with anhydrous ammonia should carry a 6 or 8 ounce squeeze bottle of fresh water on their person at all times. This small amount of water will last only long enough for the worker to get to a larger quantity of water, but it may make the difference between blindness and sight.
Initially, it may be necessary to force the victim's eyelids open after the exposure. The ammonia trapped under the eyelids must be flushed out with water or it will continue to burn the eyeball and related tissues.
Lungs
At low concentrations the odor of anhydrous ammonia will usually drive the unprotected worker away from the scene. At a higher level of concentration the worker may not escape without inhaling a dangerous dose. The entire respiratory system is very moist, so anhydrous ammonia will naturally be attracted to that part of the body. When a concentrated level of anhydrous ammonia is inhaled it will quickly burn the respiratory system. It may hurt too much to breathe. The respiratory system may essentially be paralyzed due to the pain.
First response rescue workers may not be able to treat a serious inhalation exposure. Medical technicians may be able to administer oxygen to aid breathing after their arrival to the scene. It may be difficult to maintain adequate respiration until delivery to a medical facility.
Respiratory protection is extremely important but also limited in regard to what equipment is available. A two-cartridge respirator is only effective for exposure levels of less than 300 parts per million. Canister type respirators may be effective for longer periods at higher concentrations, but without skin protection walking through an ammonia cloud is generally not advisable. A self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) which supplies the air to be breathed and a sealed, protective HazMat suit are required for working in a cloud of escaping anhydrous ammonia. Anything less will not sufficiently protect a person in this situation.

Hi Sky Blue,
I live in Reno, NV (Northern Nevada). Our population is less than 400,000 and never ending outdoor activities. We are 30 minutes away from Lake Tahoe and 1 hour to Sacramento, CA. We experience 300 days of sunshine and with four distinct seasons. Our city's website http://www.cityofreno.com.
You may want to start your search on http://www.rentals.com. Homes, condos, and apartments across the nation are listed there.

Any ideas for money making hobby for disabled husband?
My husband is disabled (lost both arms) and only has a prostethic hook for a hand. He is not totally helpless and does work a part time job. He is interested in trying to find a money making hobby so he can stay home with the kids while I go off to work. He would love to do wood work, but that would require 2 hands which he does not have. Any ideas for something that he can do with just one prostethic hook?Any ideas for money making hobby for disabled husband?
That's a toughie if we're thinking about a ';hobby'; primarily as making things with one's body, but there are all kinds of other money-making things he could do, I'd guess, and even some kinds of ';making things'; he could do too.
First I'd search out the many disabilities groups out there (local and online) and check out any suggestions or even services they might have.
Some will be affiliated with hospitals, some with national ';associations,'; some will be message boards through Yahoogroups, Delphiforums, or Googlegroups/Usenet, some will be associated with other things like products or magazines/newsletters having to do with a particular disability, etc.
So I'd suggest doing searches for the words or phrases I used above just at google.com, or at message board sites like yahoogroups.com, googlegroups.com, delphiforums.come, or at any groups or publications or even vets groups you already know the name of. Then ask them what suggestions they might have or where else you could go for info and support.
There are lots of things that can be done on a computer with no hands or a prosthetic using voice-activated software (speech-recognition software) like Dragonspeak or even better ones... and some could be for money (but certainly for his own psychological support too in those groups I mentioned). There should be things he could do primarily with his voice, hearing, eyesight, etc., too even if they're not money-making ... coaching, teaching, etc., etc.
Depending on how he lost his limbs, he might also qualify for some kind of ';occupational therapy'; or vocational rehab and that can be quite helpful in getting suggestions for how to do *anything* that he'd normally do, including work ideas.
Some amputees are (or get) quite good with using their feet and toes or mouths for doing some kinds of hobbies too, so there should be lots of possibilities depending on his interests, etc. But it may take some researching/calling/etc., to figure out what all those possibilities might be.
EDITED TO ADD:
Here are some websites I came up with just searching around a bit:
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=na鈥?/a>
http://www.disabilityinfo.gov/digov-publ鈥?/a>
EDITED MORE to add:
He could also sell things on eBay... things from your home, or things he buys at thrift stores or just as good deals then sells for more. He could probably handle the photography and also the descriptions for eBay, especially with some of the voice recognition typing software, and handling the auctions, and correpondence, etc., but don't know if he'd be able to handle the packaging. A lot of people are actually making a fair amount of money doing that, even on a small scale.
Best of luck to you both!

I don't know if this will work and hopefully he can have the kids help him with it. Look at the site and see how cute these bugs are. Does he have any artistic ability? I have seen an artist who paints with his mouth and sometimes his hand.

EDITED MORE to add:
He could also sell things on eBay... things from your home, or things he buys at thrift stores or just as good deals then sells for more. He could probably handle the photography and also the descriptions for eBay, especially with some of the voice recognition typing software, and handling the auctions, and correpondence, etc., but don't know if he'd be able to handle the packaging. A lot of people are actually making a fair amount of money doing that, even on a small scale.
Best of luck to you both!

Craving real food with a touch of home, I decided to experiment with my microwave when I was in a college dorm many years ago-and made this delectable casserole! Quick, easy, and tastes like a home cooked meal. Perfect for every college student and single non-cook.
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS
4 cups water
4 ounces spaghetti
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 ounce) package frozen broccoli florets
1 cup French fried onions
1 cup parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
Place 4 cups water in a 2 quart microwave-safe dish. Heat on high until bubbling, about 15 minutes. Break pasta in half, and drop into heated water. Microwave on high for 10 to 15 minutes, or until tender. Drain and set aside (keep warm).
Cook broccoli according to microwave directions. Add cooked broccoli to noodles, reserving liquid. Stir in 1/4 cup fried onions and mushroom soup. Add reserved broccoli liquid. Toss thoroughly, and top with remaining onions. Cover, and microwave on high about 15 minutes, or until top is crunchy. Top with cheese Let stand for a few minutes
Wow, I stay in Hotels and Motels all the time. One of the Hotels on my route has a Microwave and a fridge. I usually buy the soups and lasagna that are in the plastic bowls....heat and eat. EASY MAC. easy enough?
Go to ';recipes.com'; it should give you a good start.
I got it! In my experience, get you a couple great crock pot/slow cooker cookbooks. Throw everything in a pot, go do what you have to do, and dinner is served when you get back. Of course, short stay hotels might smell that good stuff and have something to say about leaving it, but not so much extended stay places that have built in kitchenettes.
Best of luck!!!

My husband wets his pants whenever he watches Fox News. How can I get him to stop watching?
My husband is hooked on Fox News. Every evening he watches all the shows and they get him so worked up. Almost every night he gets so angry that he urinates uncontrollably. All our furniture is getting ruined. How can I get him to stop watching O'Reilly and Hannity and all the others, or at least to wear a diaper while he's watching them?My husband wets his pants whenever he watches Fox News. Are you or your family obssessed with pee? All of your questions that you have ever posted are pee-related. I checked out your profile. your husband pees over fox news, kids beat your son and he pees himself, is jewish bedwetting normal or something like that. Every question comes back to pee. I think your family needs counselling or whatever you call the person who deals with those type of matters. This isnt to be mean or anything just my opinion based on the observation of the nature of all the questions you have ever asked

My husband is having a wisdom tooth extracted tomorrow?
I have never had this done myself, and this is his first one. How severe could the pain be? What will he be able to eat? Does it take long to heal? I just want to know what to expect tomorrow, thanks! My husband is having a wisdom tooth extracted tomorrow?
pain is different for everyone ... keep soft foods around ...
your biggest concern will be a dry socket ... don't let him get sick and vomit from the car ride or the pain pills and don't let him suck drinks through a straw -- those 2 cause them most often ...My husband is having a wisdom tooth extracted tomorrow?
hi, i just had 2 wisdom teeth pulled out about 2 months ago. the pain veries, but shouldn't take more than 2 weeks. the first two days, he shouldn't eat anything hot. try to eat cold food, and plenty of ice cream, slushies, milkshakes, etc. make sure he takes the medicine that the dentist gives him. this should make his mouth numb, and it helps. make sure he brushes his teeth and the area his wisdom tooth was pulled out. this would help not cause infection! he needs to floss too. just follow the dentist orders, and everything should be good.
good luck! :)
I just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out 24 hours ago. I just started brushing my teeth and rinsing with salt water. The pain isnt so bad but i do have a lot of swelling. For probably about the first couple of hours i had minor bleeding but thats normal for the first 24hrs. I haven't really felt like eating much but jello and soup so far. I was expecting the pain to be worse but so far it's not that bad. I would recommned taking the pain meds and resting for the next couple of days. Rest so far has helped me a lot. The dentist will explain what to do and what not to do. He should be fine. :)
I've had 6 teeth taken out. Don't worry, he's going to be in pain for a couple of days so he should eat soft things, like sandwiches, soup.. I know they;re all boring but it';s only a couple of days. Mine took a bit less than a week, not that long. So yeah he should have plenty of fluids. Don't have any thing hard just soft things. So I wish him luck %26amp; I feel his pain :P Oh %26amp; tell him to try not to put too much presure on where the tooth has been taken out. His dentist should go through all this with him
Hope I helped
when i was a kid i had two cut out one week, and the other tow cut out the next week, and i was put to sleep for this , what to eat, first 24 hrs. soup, after that what ever he feels like. just take good care of him, and give him lots and lots of love, because someday that mite be you he is doing this for.

My husband has a massive staff infection on the back of his neck very near the brain?
He is a diabetic and I finally convinced him to go to the doctor because he could not turn his head it was so bad. The doctor gave him an antibiotic and he is taking this. How do I know when to take him to the hospital? He has not been running a high fever and he keeps putting heat back there. But his neck and back of his head is stiff and hard about the size of a golf ball! It is so scary to me. If he runs fever should I take him?It is hard getting him to the doctor! He does not want to go!My husband has a massive staff infection on the back of his neck very near the brain?
Take him to the hospital. The infection is too close to the brain and spine, there is no way for any person on here to predict when he could take a turn for the worse. Get a family member or friend to come over and help you with him.
Most anti-biotics take nearly 3 days or more to reach their potentcy. The hospital will x-ray it or do more. He needs to know what it is. If it is a staff infection, the puss can be toxic, even to you. Did the doctor suggest lancing the boil?
We have lanced such things in the past, no insurance means you got to do what you can. If it where open, you could apply Itchamol oinment, BLACK SAUVE, to the boil, add a bandage and change the dressing every few hours. This black sauve will pull the toxin out and you need to keep track of how much is draining. You also want to keep it off the skin that isn't infected.
You can get the ointment at any drugstore or pharmacy. Wear protective gloves when you are touching the area and the bandages, don't get any of it on you. IF you do, make sure you wash your hands immediately ( we use bleach in this kind of case). Be very careful if you decide to squeeze the area, it will hurt him considerably, could make him pass out and it could explode outward and spray you in the face.
Hot compresses will cause it to rise faster though they can give some relief. IF you use the black ointment, you can still put heat around it, but use a heating pad so that you don't soak the bandage.
We have used the black sauve on bee stings, spider and insect bites boils and other oozy kinds of infections.
I hope this helps and he gets relief soon, but dont' wait to take him in to the doctor, the location of the infection is very alarming. I am very suprised the first doctor didn't do more.My husband has a massive staff infection on the back of his neck very near the brain?
If he gets a fever, YES take him in. As a diabetic he can't mess around with infections. He should know that. Just observe him. Temp, appetite, behavior(altered level of conciousness-ALOC). I've worked in hospitals for almost 30 yrs(goes by fast, lol) and I've NEVER met anyone who likes going to a hospital or doctor's office. Good luck.
night shift x-ray tech
I would say that the heat would make it worse. But I am not sure about that. Try ice. Also when did he go to the doctor. Is it an open wound staph can be a very difficult infection to resolve in diabetics just because their immune system is not as strong. If it gets worse or his fever gets higher or he has other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, letharghy(tired), his blood sugars are off, any of these could be a sign to seek medical help. You should probably consult his doctors office and ask for advise just to be sure. My mother had an infection and they ended up having to cut it out and that was 18inches long and 6 inches deep on the back of her thigh she is also a diabetic because she did not want to go to the doctor. So be very careful. Good luck to you and your husband.moon drops body mask

How do you clean a house focusing on my husband's allergies?
My husband has really bad allergies and they have been acting up in our new house. Cleaning has not helped at all. I didn't know if there were certain chemicals I could use to help relieve my husband with his annoying allergies. Any advice? How do you clean a house focusing on my husband's allergies?
~~*~~ I have this problem too. I make sure to clean when he is not home. I also make sure to use Carpet Fresh's Pet Dander and Allergen Reducer floor powder before I sweep. After that, I use Frebrez Allergen Reducer Spray. I spray the furniture and the carpet. So many things stick in your carpeting that irritate allergies. After I'm done sweeping the whole house, I damp dust everything. That way, all the dust, dander, pollen and allergens are trapped and thrown out. Also make sure that your sweeper's filters are replaced regularly. Also, try to make checking your furnace and a/c's air filters a part of your monthly cleaning routine. If this does not help, I recommend having a professional in to inspect your air ducts. You'd be amazed at what you can find in some new houses' air ducts. What gets trapped in there can be a huge contributor to any allergy troubles. Companies like Stanley Steemer Carpet Cleaners offer a duct cleaning service. Try to give about a hour for things to settle before your husband comes home again. I hope this helps. It's helped my husband a lot!! Have a good day!
P.S Also, clean your carpets. Construction dust gets trapped in carpets very frequently! How do you clean a house focusing on my husband's allergies?
i have allergies too. the things that set them off: carpet- especially in damp basements or brand new. plug ins, perfume, aerosol freshners, cats, carpet fresh, scented candles dust and pollen. any of that around? it sounds like a lot- but i just dust and wipe down all furniture with a damp cloth or oiled cloth on wood. i keep the windows closed on high pollen days and wash my hair after being out on high pollen days. i couldnt figure out why i kept getting sick at my moms house until i found the plug in behind her couch. people think its just a small thing, but i have ended up in the hospital from exposure to pollen, perfume, plug ins and even hair dye.
chemicals could be the cause. how about carpet? did you get new carpet? I've slowly started getting rid of ours its helped.
Your husband may have developed chemical sensitivity. We are bombarded by chemicals in our water, air, cleaners, food etc. I have a 20-month old son and I am very concerned about what he is surrounded with and try to minimize exposure. I have found a web-site www.ecos.com where you can buy household cleaners made without chemicals. I tested them and they work great.
Also, getting detoxified has been shown to relieve chemical sensitivity and in many cases reduce allergies from food and air-born.

i have allergies too. the things that set them off: carpet- especially in damp basements or brand new. plug ins, perfume, aerosol freshners, cats, carpet fresh, scented candles dust and pollen. any of that around? it sounds like a lot- but i just dust and wipe down all furniture with a damp cloth or oiled cloth on wood. i keep the windows closed on high pollen days and wash my hair after being out on high pollen days. i couldnt figure out why i kept getting sick at my moms house until i found the plug in behind her couch. people think its just a small thing, but i have ended up in the hospital from exposure to pollen, perfume, plug ins and even hair dye.
chemicals could be the cause. how about carpet? did you get new carpet? I've slowly started getting rid of ours its helped.
Your husband may have developed chemical sensitivity. We are bombarded by chemicals in our water, air, cleaners, food etc. I have a 20-month old son and I am very concerned about what he is surrounded with and try to minimize exposure. I have found a web-site www.ecos.com where you can buy household cleaners made without chemicals. I tested them and they work great.
Also, getting detoxified has been shown to relieve chemical sensitivity and in many cases reduce allergies from food and air-born.
Can my husband and I file joint bankruptcy if had filed individual bankruptcy on my own just over 6 yrs ago?
I filed in October of 2001 (before we were married). Due to an extreme drop in his income, by husband is considering filing. We would like to file jointly only because we have a joint debt we would like to discharge as well. I know there are limitations as to how often an individual can file, but would that be the case in a joint bankruptcy (if one person has filed individually within the the last 6 years)? We are in Indiana, if that matters. Can my husband and I file joint bankruptcy if had filed individual bankruptcy on my own just over 6 yrs ago?
No maam, you can not...due to the changes in BK laws. However, the actual debt may be able to be included in his filing. Unlike when you filed, you now have to go through counseling and a few other ';hoops';. As you may know, contact your local BK atty. he/she will meet with you, usually free, and advise of how to proceed.
BTW, ignore the comments you will probably get regarding not managing your finances!! Most of the mid west, along with many other states, are in a time where cut backs, layoffs, plant closings are the norm (I specifically site the mid west, as the auto manufacturer issues). More successful ppl file multiple BK's than anyone even knows about.
Good Luck! Can my husband and I file joint bankruptcy if had filed individual bankruptcy on my own just over 6 yrs ago?
You need to consult an attorney-1st consult is usually free-with a ch. 13, I believe you can but the laws changed recently-I am in Indiana too and my fiancee recently filed a ch. 13.
nope you wont be able to, once every 7 years,, contact a lawyer,
Sounds like you both need to control your spending and start acting like responsable adults. You can do it, but just don't expect to have ANY credit once you come out of it. Seriously though, I would start living within your means and not spending money you don't have.
yeah so u can call the authorities and tell them to cancel it .... and then file the report again ... but from ur situation .. it looks like ur waiting long ... my advice with my answer will be try a different company
Regardless of filing jointly or independantly, you can only file a BK once every 7 yrs. and even then it depends on the circumstances and the type of BK being filed. They've changed the rules recently, so I would recommend checking with local BK attorneys. The joint debt that you have together should be able to be included on his BK since his name is on the account. They may have you sign a document agreeing to allow this account to be filed in the BK, but you can't file jointly with him since you already filed in 2001.

Can my husband get a bad mark on his attendance for having to go to small claims court?
My husband says he will get a half point mark down for being late because the court date and time interferes with the time he has to be at work. We are in Wisconsin. Can they do this?
We didn't pick the time and date the plaintiff did. We are merely defending our case. Can my husband get a bad mark on his attendance for having to go to small claims court?
Employer policy is up to them. If they say he gets dinged, he gets dinged. Can my husband get a bad mark on his attendance for having to go to small claims court?
Yes he can. No law requires an employer to excuse his time off. perhaps he can request the time off using the policy set by his employer.

How many Lean Cuisines can a wife serve a husband before his head pops off?
I cook other things too don't get me wrong. We had to have a drastic food change in our house because my husband's medicial issues. It seems like the more I put Lean Cuisines in the freezer for his ';quick fix's'; the crankier he gets?
So Husbands: Tell me.. How many can you eat before your head pops off?How many Lean Cuisines can a wife serve a husband before his head pops off?
lol Oh my Gawd I'm laughing at this one....okay, which head, Toots......lol...just the mental image has me cracking up...I'd say give it a week...and NO MORE COOL WHIP %26amp; OREOS, and....BOING! hahahahahaha....
..and I have a cranky Baby at times too...he's type 2 diabetic with a horrible sweet tooth and love of homestyle southern cooking (he's from Atlanta Georgia) I do my best...no frozen foods but all this healthy eating is gonna cause a head pop here one day, I'm sure. I offset it by letting him have his fav sausage gravy %26amp; biscuits (mine's da Bomb!) once in a while..it neutralizes the head popping effect....lol still laughing. How many Lean Cuisines can a wife serve a husband before his head pops off?
I actually enjoy a lot of the Lean Cuisines, etc...they just aren't that big and usually need something else.
What you might want to try is dressing up the meal. Instead of serving it in the plastic container it comes in, try putting it on a plate. Take a few extra seconds to zap another frozen veggie to go with it, or get some dinner rolls. You might find your husband finds the meal more enjoyable because it actually is a meal.
If that doesn't work, give him a beer to drink with it. That should solve everything.
Well I do not think his head will literal pop off, I eat them every day and I'm still kick-en. Although a steady diet of them all day long would cause some stress. Your going to have to fix him a special treat, for his good behavior, at least once a week. It would also be helpful if you and Skippy stopped eating all the good foods in front of him, talking about how delicious and good the food is while he is eating his bland tasteless food. So give him a break.
I had some Lean Cuisines in the freezer a while ago when I was trying to lose 5 lbs. My husband came along, and he ate three of them in one sitting. Then he microwaved a 4th just to eat the dessert, and he put the rest in the fridge. He said they were good, but I said that he kind of defeated the purpose of the ';Lean'; part of Lean Cuisine. So I guess my hubby could eat a whole bunch before his head popped off... but his pants buttons would probably pop off instead. :D
It's ok for convenience. They are handy, but it's probably not the best thing to eat exclusively. I can't eat them mostly because I am a vegetarian, but when I did eat meat, I would say I could eat about 5 a week or so. Other than that, I start craving other foods.
It may be that his medical condition does require special cooking, but on the other hand, learning to make simple easy dishes can be fun. For instance, you need to find what he can eat.
Oftentimes, you could pre-make certain foods that freeze well and then heat them up (for instance, chili--you could make it vegetarian if he needs a low fat diet).
I dont think he'll eat one.
Just the way he looks at me when I sit down to dinner. I fix the rest of my family this awesome, yummy meal, that I spend all day cooking. Then I sit down with them, with a lean cuisine in front of me. lol! I think he feels sorry for me!
oh, lordy lordy my husband would never eat Lean Cuisines, so you got it made on that one honey
i have a meat and potatos kinda guy
so i will speak for him and say ';0';
4,729 - after that you start with bleeding out the nose followed by out the ears after 5,167. After 6,456, you die upon putting the fork in your mouth.
Three. One is OK on occasion. If I had to eat them for two meals in a row, I'd be very unhappy. After the third one, my head wouldn't so much pop off as it would explode in gustatory disgust.
Well most lean cuisine portions are designed for women on a 1,200 calorie a day diet. Most men are practically starving on 1,200 calories a day and need at least 2,000.
Maybe he's just hungry???
Will friend I don't know because I don't like them! All i say is after you give him one step back, his head is going to roll and you better get out of the way!
If all he can eat is Lean Cuisine for food try find other foods like that and tell him that if he wants to live longer he needs to chage his diet and cope with what the doctor has recommended. Good luck
I have never eaten lean cuisine, I like frozen entres but enjoy good food as well. Look for healthy quick food cookbooks.
Not too many for me, but he's the one who gets hunger attacks. Does he have diabities maybe? The Adult Unset kind?
By the third meal you'd be looking for the duct tape and stapler, no doubt.
My husband eats one a day for lunch at work five days a week.
Depends on the frequency. I think three per month is tolerable.
One
Right up until he files for divorce.
LOL!! I dont know but please repost and let us know the answer when it happens.
my husband wont even eat leftover much less a lean cuisine. He loves his home cooked meals.
One a year is more than enough.
I would max out at 8.
I wouldn't eat one of them.
Better his head then his pant buttons!lol

How can you concieve a baby quicker with your husband?
Once again, I was just curious. What things should you/your husband avoid? And what techniques/positions should you use?How can you concieve a baby quicker with your husband?
Your husband should avoid tight underwear. You can use any position but I've heard that you (the female) should also try to have an orgasm every time, the spasms draw the sperm closer to the cervix. Also, many women will lay on their backs afterward with a pillow under their bottom. Gravity will help semen flow towards your cervix. How can you concieve a baby quicker with your husband?
Have sex in the missonary postition and do it 2 days before you ovulate on the day of ovulation and 3 days after.Sperm can live up to 5 days and the egg is only present 12 hours on the day of ovulation. The idea is to have sperm waiting there to fertilize the egg.Try not to do it everyday because you need to give the sperm time to build back up.
You should avoid having sex alot before you ovulate. Tell your husband to keep cold things away from his ';man'; (like swimming in a cold pool, etc....) I don't think the position matters just be sure that you don't rush to the bathroom once your husband is ';done'; you have to give the ';boys'; a chance to swim. The dollar store has ovulation tests that work great. Good Luck
I just read a little about this at my library a few days ago. Women should avoid caffeine...just one cup of coffee a day can lower your fertility up to 50%!! Also, cut out nicotine and alcohol. Take prenatals...I don't think that helps fertility but it assures a healthy you and baby...For men...they should smoke no more than 20 cigarettes a day...and no more than 3 cups of coffee or something like that.
Relax, a large percentage of women get pregnant during a holiday.
don't make love for two weeks begining with the first day of your period and then every second day after that. Keeps the sperm count high.
Swallow a watermelon seed.

How do you get an honest opinion from your husband?
I am seriously sick of getting answers like yeah its fine or yeah whatever you like. It seems like he is just saying what he thinks I want to hear. He can never form his own opinion. How can I get a real answer out of him?How do you get an honest opinion from your husband?
He, like the rest of us husbands eventually realize that you don't want an honest opinion. Whatever we answer is either; wrong, stupid, starts you either laughing at us or crying for some reason. We've learned to just say what you want to hear and get it over with. Example: Do I look fat in these? If we say no, you come back with ';you're just saying that, I can never get an honest answer out of you. ';, if we say yes ';we are insulting, don't love you any more or something silly. I'm sorry if you don't like this answer, but guys out there...am I right? Just see how many men agree. How do you get an honest opinion from your husband?
Ok. Let me break it to you.
1. Please note that answers like ';its' fine'; or yeah ';whatever'; means that he is not really interested in the outcome of the subject matter. So you can do what you want etc.
2. He keeps the answer short and simple. Why complicate things? Didn't you just hear him say fine?
2. He does have an opinion. In his opinion, quit asking questions that you know the answer to already. Or how about you just leave him be. If he has an opinion he will give it. If not, leave him be.
Maybe he doesn't have an opinion or really give much thought about to what you are asking about. Try asking him a question about something he is interested in, and he'll probably have very strong opinions.
If he is only saying 'what you want to hear', maybe you are overly sensitive to honest answers.
I would just flat out ask him for his honest opinion, mine does it and I have no regrets asking for it. Maybe he might be afraid you would get mad at him. Just let him know how can you have an honest relationship if he can't express himself honestly to his wife about anything you ask. Be sure you can handle the truth.
he's probably learned after years of you being a b*tch to him and harping on everything he says to just shut the hell up so you quit riding his *** and he can live the last remaining years of his pitiful life in peace.
You probably get those answers because most of the women that I've ever associated with will argue with you if you answer in a way that they don't want to hear. So why ask in the first place if you don't want our answer?
If he is not giving a descriptive answer he might be preoccupied or unintrested and not care. When it comes to a imprant decsion makes sure you have his full attention and you should get a better response.
The correct response to ';Whatever you like,'; is ';Thank you!';
If I think he's blowing me off - I call him out on it (aka. turn of the tv). My husband is an honest person by nature (sometimes too honest) so it's not usually a problem for me...
Ask him 5 seconds AFTER orgasm... it's when men are most honest.

Ladies who's a better cook you or your husband?
My bf and I are both damn good cooks. However my boyfriend thinks he's a better cook since he has his Cooking and Baking Certificate.Ladies who's a better cook you or your husband?
We both are but i get more into it BECAUSE of my culinary degree and passion of food and such. But my Bf does a lot of the cooking because i am working 14 hour days.
He is creative and makes some damn sweet *** burgers!!Ladies who's a better cook you or your husband?
My hubby rarely cooks, but when he does he struts around telling the kids how much better at it he is than me. In truth I make his favorite beef jerky, I make the chorico and kale soup that he loves. But I experiment a lot more, and sometimes we don't care for the outcome. Or I like it but he doesn't. But that's how we learn!! So I say me, but he would disagree. Today he told me that someday I would learn how to cook. I've been cooking for 17 years. Ugh.
credentials don't mean squat. It means he knows how to hold a knife, and to not cross-contaminate food, which is important, but adds nothing to flavor.
I'm better than my hubby at most things. But he has a few dishes that I don't even attempt b/c his are so good... I just get him to do them.
I am! Well, food is my art, I went to school for it.. he knows how to cook, he's just not on my level of cooking =) I still appreciate anything he makes though.
i am. and my husband will actually admit it. its so bad i dont even ask him to stir the pot or check on it. hes not allowed in my kitchen
At first, my hubby was the better cook, mainly because I didn't know how!!!! But after a while and a nice cookbook collection, I am the better cook now. He'll agree to it, too!
Can run circles around mine in the kitchen...however giving the poor fellow credit, he is a good cook, and he outshines me on the grill.....
i am good at cooking and he's good at eatting .
I am. My hubby doesn't like to cook. He's the best eater, though. :-)
I cook and he cleans... works well that way... But when he grills I clean!
Me - but he's pretty darned good too! (lucky me!)
I'm a better cook and he washes the dishes. Even trade.
My husband said I am! but he can make the best damn spaghetti!
me in the kitchen, him on the grill. But if he ever wants to take over the kitchen part he is well come to it!
I am definitely better than my lady, haha. But she is still really good too.
ummm....ME...hubby enjoys the eating not the prep
Me
i'm a better cooker, my hubby is a better griller =]
me but he does the dishs and I think thats great
me! and he knows it too!
{ME}, but I would NEVER tell my hubby that!! LOL!
