Craving real food with a touch of home, I decided to experiment with my microwave when I was in a college dorm many years ago-and made this delectable casserole! Quick, easy, and tastes like a home cooked meal. Perfect for every college student and single non-cook.

Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

4 cups water

4 ounces spaghetti

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 (10 ounce) package frozen broccoli florets

1 cup French fried onions

1 cup parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS

Place 4 cups water in a 2 quart microwave-safe dish. Heat on high until bubbling, about 15 minutes. Break pasta in half, and drop into heated water. Microwave on high for 10 to 15 minutes, or until tender. Drain and set aside (keep warm).

Cook broccoli according to microwave directions. Add cooked broccoli to noodles, reserving liquid. Stir in 1/4 cup fried onions and mushroom soup. Add reserved broccoli liquid. Toss thoroughly, and top with remaining onions. Cover, and microwave on high about 15 minutes, or until top is crunchy. Top with cheese Let stand for a few minutes
Wow, I stay in Hotels and Motels all the time. One of the Hotels on my route has a Microwave and a fridge. I usually buy the soups and lasagna that are in the plastic bowls....heat and eat. Also, I buy the prepared meals that Dinty Moore makes.....chicken and dumplins, chicken and rice, Chili......You probably already do that......
SCRAMBLED EGGS
i seen this thing on tv about a chef who made ...chef-like things outta stuff you could buy in gas stations!!! not sure his name or anything... but hes out there. good luck. :) search for him and his recipes.

pasta is always good, you can also cook almost anything in a microwave. I used to not have an oven and i tried to cook a frozen steak in the mircowave, and it worked. You can also slice potatoes and cook them in there.
pasta , chicken, fry chicken pork you can fry any meat on a skillet breakfast foods, eggs, french toast, pancakes, bacon sausage, steak, you can make salads, pasta salad, green salads, fruit salads, deviled eggs, basic pasta, add different sauces.

EASY MAC. easy enough?
Go to ';recipes.com'; it should give you a good start.
I got it! In my experience, get you a couple great crock pot/slow cooker cookbooks. Throw everything in a pot, go do what you have to do, and dinner is served when you get back. Of course, short stay hotels might smell that good stuff and have something to say about leaving it, but not so much extended stay places that have built in kitchenettes.

Best of luck!!!
