My husband is currently serving a 2 year sent on Violation of a Protective Order. Is he Parole eligible ?

Does anyone have experience on these type of situations? He has served 6 months already in county jail and has been transferred to TDC now to serve the remainder. He has '; heard'; he could be parole eligible, but would that be based on his history? Would it be worth hiring a parole attorney? My husband is currently serving a 2 year sent on Violation of a Protective Order. Is he Parole eligible ?

maybe. it depends on his past record. it also depends on the prison pop. if they are overcrowded then he has a good chance. if not then u may not be spending much time with him for a while.
You're asking a group made up of mostly illiterate 16 year olds and people pretending to be cops (see all answers above me). How about asking someone versed in this, you know, like a lawyer instead of people who are going pass off ridiculously bad guesses as answers?
idk he might you need to ask the judge
well ok
I am sure he is eligible for parole. My friend had similar situation - she hired a lawer and the guy got a parole. Good luck
An attorney would help, but as an interested party,

you can ask to be notified of, and to speak at, any hearing.
It all depends on what state, country, etc. is handling him.

Why not ask them?
